Graves too tanky

I built full ap ekko. Unloaded my full combo with ult. Landed stun. Was only one itemm behind. Couldnt do more than 1/3 of graves hp.

Well there's your problem, he probably had magic resist and you didn't have any penetration maybe?

How can a 120 armor and mr steroid on an adc be bad? Thats good champion design imo.

oh another post complaining about Graves? The problem isn't Graves it's you...and he's not OP he's quite balanced...just learn to play against him.

A couple issues here...

A full item behind? Dude..that's like ~3k or so gold.
What levels were each of you?
AP Ekko is an assassin, but he's still a multi-attack champ. He doesn't usually just blow somebody up if he's on equal par with them. Graves, on the other hand, gets stronger the longer he's in a fight.
Did you proc your w CC on him? Did you get your shield? If he just blew you up, I'm assuming you didn't get your ult off on him, so your own damage is your q, e, and passive. If he had any MR, then don't expect to blow him up with that. And a late game ADC will out-DPS you for sure.

I got my shield. my stun. my ult. my q (both sides). lichbane. and my e. Did fuck all and no dmg whatsoever. I used my WHOLE combo. Did 1k dmg to him. Had 4 ap items.

That kinda contradicts your other post: "he didnt need it [GA]. I died instantly."

Ekko's ult travels back 4 seconds and restores a % of HP lost. Plus a full AP Ekko shield is 800-1000 HP. Plus the stun is 2.25s. You would have had to be alive for at least 8-10 seconds then...which is quite a long time actually. It's plenty of time for Graves to to stack his grit and lifesteal quite a bit.

Why did you ult him right after a stun? If you didn't blow him up within a few seconds (and you won't if he has MR), then he can jsut auto you a few times right to death.

I admit graves has some issues right now, but it's mostly due to tankier itemizations on ADCs being too strong still. But a late game ADC, especially one like graves, only needs 2-3 autos to drain a full HP bar against a squishy target.
