Why does Rhaast get priority when Kayn passive fulls up?

If you passive as Kayn is about to full up, and you kill a melee champ and then a ranged champ something funny happens. All the passive orbs will come in at the same time, and Rhaast will become available for transformation even tho you killed a ranged champ last.

My problem is rhaast takes priority and then I have to wait 4 minutes to get shadow Kayn even tho I killed a ranged champ last.

Not a big deal just something I find a little unfair.

That's not how any of this works.

You only see the most full bar but there are two bars. one for rhaast and one for kayn.

Orbs come per tick/instance of damage and you earn more the longer the game goes on per tick.

You absorbed the orbs in the order you did damage/killed the champion. Since the melee died first, you received those orbs first and maxed out your RHASST bar.

If it was late enough in the game, you receiving the orb priority for rhaast first because that damage came first could be enough to max one bar.

It's not about what kind of champion you kill last but the % of Melee or ranged champions.

Kill more melee, get Rhaast.

Actually no.

His orbs fill two meters depending on the form, and the later in the game it is, the more each orb will fill the meter.

So by 10 minutes killing one champion will instantly get you a transformation regardless of how full or empty your bar is.

That's why people think that the transformation only relies on the last champion you've killed, because that last champion you get is likely to fill your bar twice over.

Its a % base for the passive. Just because you got a ranged kill for the last 15% doesn't mean Shadow Assassin becomes available if 85% was melee damage.

Nope , thats not the case. I went mid against lux. So Most of the % would have been shadow Kayn. Then we fought top. I killed Kha first, and then Lux. The blue and red orbs came in at the same time. Rhaast then became available for me to transform while shadow kayn went on penalty

It's a bug. It's supposed to be percent damage based, but it seems that sometimes it decides based on most recent damage.

The % amount is also based off level and time in-game. 2 kills at 5 minutes isn't worth the same as 2 kills at 10 minutes.
