Why do I keep seeing single Akalis carrying games..

Every other lane can be doing fine and then late game it's just the enemy Akali solo killing most of our team because she's crazy healing most of our damage..

I have yet to see a game where the enemy Akali actually doesn't get fed

Did anything happen with buffs or something because I keep seeing Akalis being able to just solo everyone. My team's squishes are bursted down in 2 seconds and she's running rampaging through my team just healing and killing everyone

Actually, Akali is pretty weak right now (at least in high elos) and will be until she is reworked. Akali has been nerfed into oblivion because she has a problematic kit. A lot of this is due to the binary nature of her shroud. Early game, before enemies have pink wards, the shroud is quite strong. Late game, the shroud is pretty much worthless because any decent team will plop a pink ward on top of it. In addition, her 'e' is an energy sink that does not synergize with the rest of her kit (after it no longer proc'd her mark of the assassin). This means that she is basically just damage on a point-and-click q, a point-and-click dash, and damage on her dash. This is incredibly difficult to balance, so if she is viable at high elo's then she will be a pub-stomper at low elos. Even with all of her nerfs, she can pub-stomp in bronze or silver if in the hands of a strong player.

Her entire kit needs to be reworked. In particular, her shroud cannot be hard countered by pinks and she needs to be forced to utilize her shroud late game. If done correctly, this will allow her damage to be nerfed, allow for more skill and counterplay, and generally make her easier to balance.

Leblanc Is a billion times worse than Akali can ever dream to be. Leblanc is pure fuckin AIDS. At least Akali is counterable. Leblanc can kill you in an instant in the middle of your whole team and get out without taking a single point of damage, Akali cannot. She'll die in 1/2 a second if she dares to try that shit. And don't get me started on her passive. Pure bullshit. I don't know Leblanc mains sleep at night.

They are meant to run in and take out a high priority target, not fight the whole enemy team by themselves while dealing out tons of burst damage and also sustaining themselves. That's not an assassin.

thats a good thing i said kill the squishies. and didnt say take the whole team. akali is clean up crew. not tank+kill everyone. just clean up. thats it.

Akali is the go to champion for smurfs. Either that akali was a smurf of your team just really sucks and got her fed. Even then when akali is fed all you really need is cc to lock her down and a pink.
