Is the new client slow to anyone else?

For me I can barely accept a match as I'm in que and in champ select I can't even pick a champ or anything cause everything freezes up and goes super slow,in game (only gotten into one game so far since the patch) it's ok but I have to close the client as it's running in the background :l Should I revert back to the old client till this has been fixed/smoothened up? I wanna play gawd damnit QQ Pls riot D:

This new client is absurd. Every time I try to play ranked, I can't even lock in my choice or ban a champion cause of the lag it has. Does anyone have solution for this please? This is becoming ridiculous. I've gotten queue dodge and all of that so much recently cause of the lag it has.

Most people actually just swapped back to the Old Client. They said this client is scheduled to be finished by early 2017, meaning they still have a lot of kinks to work out. I suggest everyone whose using it and can't handle it, to switch back to the old client until everything is sorted out. Unless you're testing for bugs, it's not worth the hassle.

Yes, it taking me a long time to update the client. Honestly the new client looks great, bu tit also kinda looks packed. I rather have a smooth client rather than a laggy one.

Yeah, I've missed 2 Qs now and keep getting penalized cause the client wont respond fast enough when I click ban or Lock in

I guess that's where all those frequent "dodges" came from.

Riot better get that completely fixed up before the new season starts.

same thing with me too, the client is so slow, and I'm a youtuber that records my LOL games, so recently its been impossible to do that with the new client, hope they fix this problem quickly.

Same here...its honestly so annoying. I've got a waiting time on que 4 times now..please...fix...this!

Yeah I've switched back to the legacy client. Hopefully they will have made it run a lot better by the time they make the new client mandatory.

My laptop has core 2 duo P8400, 4gb ram, Gforce 9600

The old client only takes about 25% of cpu , the new one uses 100% and lags a lot to pick up or ban any chan.

I think this issue has to do with the new client interacting with the multiple c++ installs on the system. the problem is there are a lot of them and having to clean uninstall them and installing the new client over again is a big hassle. it only fixed the problem for a little while. if anyone has found a more permanent fix please let me know. man i miss the old client:(

Yeah its been really slow for me too.

My client is so freaking slow. I wish they had never trashed legacy. I have to wait 5 minutes in the loading screen after a game before I can do anything, and it takes 10-15 seconds for me to add/honour/report players because the pop-ups have to load up. I even have the client on low-spec mode.

Best part about the whole issue; it still exists even though the old client has been discontinued. Now I can't even switch the clients, meaning I literally don't have any means of solving this problem. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens once patch 7.13 comes out.
