You cant just blatantly fight him because he has lifesteal in his kit. He is like the fastest champion in game hes just annoying to deal with in general

He's not that hard to kill. Can't tell you how many times i've won against this dude as jungle.

I jg udyr, hecarim and yi.

Hecarim is strong when dumb enemy laners push out. He will run in with all kinds of cc and wreck the lane time and time again. He's also great in teamfights because of his broken (and pretty low cd) ult.

But send Udyr or another bruiser into his jungle, and talk your teammates into NOT pushing blind for no reason, and a lot of junglers will just terrorize him in his own jg. Give Udyr a couple levels of turtle and a finished jungle item, and he can farm pretty happily in Hec's jungle IMO.

That being said, at low elo, the magic pony can pretty much run from lane to lane wreaking havoc, and nobody will ever ward properly, position properly, or freeze their lane properly. Against dummies, Hecarim is a GREAT champ to play, because there's not much you can do when you're getting knocked into walls, feared and smited in like 2 seconds.

Oh yeah, and his early game is much harder than Yi or Udyr. His clears are sloooooow, he has HP problems, it really is a nightmare. I specifically tell my laners that I need a good leash if i'm going to finish my first clear without backing. Udyr, yi. . . no such problem at all.
