You shouldn't lose lp for an afk

There has been like 4 games were i lost due to an afk, this last one included. We shouldn't lose lp for something uncontrollable. It just isn't fair.

This is true.

Unfortunately: reducing/removing LP losses from an AFK could be easily exploited with most practical applications of the system. Preventing a team from verbally abusing a player and forcing them to drop out of the game so the team doesn't suffer penalties isn't something you could easily address, and player behavior as a whole could worsen from that dynamic if a loss-prevention via AFK system was put in place.

How about if the person went afk either in the loading screen or first 5 mins, loss will be prevented.

Stuff happens...move on and forget about it...giving you LP back is bad for other players... It could be exploited a lot... What if you somehow win that game... You'd want to gain LP not for it to stay the same.... Go into a premade with 3 friends and a boosted smurf... The smurf dodges and you play the game...you win you gain LP...You loose your LP stays the same... Now do you see why it's a bad idea...
