Now that Brand's damage will be even LESS dependent on AP as it is now, that 12% max-hp AoE nuke he has for a passive? Yeah...don't say nobody warned you, Riot.

Except the base damage on his Q, E, and R is going down and he's forced to land 3 spells on you in other to be able to take advantage of the passive. Also in squishy bot lane 12% of max health is not that impressive.

Yes, but EVERY mage is getting nerfed really hard. And his mana costs are also going down, so feel free to spam away.

And it's not the lane that's the problem. It's the fact that he's going to be a stupid powerful teamfighter hammering whole teams into the ground with no offensive items.

Maybe he will maybe he won't. Right now on the PBE I've only faced against him once when he was a support and not a mid laner. His damage is alright nothing amazing. Zyra support is still better when it comes to consistent damage supports but we shall see upon release.

Its basically changing brand to make his combos even more devastating, but lessening his poke.

I sincerely doubt every mage is getting nerf.

it was, but in teamfights cant you just use the flame pillar, Ult and W (not sure of his abilities) for the three stacks?

Oh I agree, i think riot should look into making mages more viable midlane and less viable as just a full damage machine with a sightstone. But then again, meta shifts are susally healthy with some balance changes

Hell, I'd even settle for a health/high AP item along the same statline as rylais that builds from sightstone

Not quite. The problem is that his AP ratios and the AP of items are so low that there will be very little impact from items.

So it'll be more like watch out for "random af utility items Brand". No matter what he builds, he'll do the same amount of everything. His effectiveness is more affected by enemy builds than his own

You're probably right. All AP mana items have to scale. So why not get Frozen Heart or Iceborne? Mana and 20% CDR. Hell, Warmogs will have 10 CDR. If I picked Brand mid and saw Talon, I'd try it

See I knew you would come around. I only said it because EVERY champ in this game with %dmg. Can be played Tank, see Ekko,Fizz Etc.

But yeah that new Brand honestly looks disgusting but still can't hold a candle to our true pyro lord. Annie. Her new kit is haggard new tibbers is scary as all balls.
