i seriously got raged at and called a scrub because i banned nidalee leblanc and ahri. why are people such asshats before the game even starts?

play Kalista for the first time ever
get sona support, not ideal but I can work with it.
intentionally takes first two kills with q, pushes wave constantly with AAs lvl 1-4
completely disregards my need for CS and continually overextends to engage after lvl 4, expecting me to follow suit into a Jinx/Thresh.
apparently i'm "the worst ADC on the planet" for trying to cover her ass for the first 10 minutes of the game, giving up two early deaths because of it
end 26/3/8, 450CS in a 45 minute game, still lost due to a sona diving in with TF to a 2v5

Why is such toxicity in the game today? Why today?

Probably should've asked them what they preferred what was banned; I usually

Ban a champ I don't want to fight

Ban a champ that my team agrees on

ban another champ I do not like

It's hard to make people happy in champ select, but this may help you not get raged at next time if you choose to do this. :) (Also, I believe this belongs in the MISC section, I might be wrong though)

I got raged at because I 'Kill stealed' after my teammate died. Also got blamed for not helping every 2 minutes when he got killed by a really bad brand player with him taking smite and charity into lane. ALSO blames me for not helping sooner when he was low health, as I was coming in mid to help viktor (the flamer) he was getting killed and tried to run but instead he runs the other direction but I still managed to kill Brand when he runs to the tower after he kills Viktor then blames me for my first point I mentioned and it basically cycled through the whole game. He calls me bad and a noob when I end up 21/1/??.

Got to say it was fun, I just laugh at toxic players and how serious they become over a game.
