Do champs with only one role allotted them have the deck stacked against them? Are they inherently at a disadvantage? Should Riot stop creating champs with niche roles to fill?
Nami, Rakan, and Bard have trouble reaching other roles on a mass scale. Is this good for game development? Is there a need to overhaul them to make them more viable in other roles?
kda akali1 votesJanna has it the worst out of all the supports in my opinion. Bard can go top or mid, I've seen Rakan top as a tanky mage work but, I do kinda agree with Nami.

as a one trick to suit this purpose. Since he can be played mid and top, I don't have to worry if I happen to get my secondary role.
RookPusher1 votesAnd this is sort of my point. What I'm coming to learn after 5 years in LoL is that muscle memory is king. You have to know how your champ responds to all incoming CC and attacks, and you need to respond instinctively. If you don't, you're at a disadvantage.
In a game where autofill exists, and one-tricking is king, one-lane champs are out of the rotation. Granted, since most of the one-role champs are supports, they can still be used for autofill, but as ADC rises, or with (e.g.) Ivern, you have problems.
They need to buff ADC just to take it out of consistent auto-fill range because ADC isn't a part-time job. And with Ivern, using him support isn't ideal since he can't leash.

420 grams1 votesActually it makes balancing them better. When's the last time you saw a Nami nerf? Some people started jungling with braum and weren't getting executed by the time they reached raptors, so they nerfed braums damage to effectively remove him from the jungle and subsequently from solo lanes.
