"It's not my fault it's my PC!"
Well, couldn't you consider fixing your goddamn wooden pc BEFORE joining my ranked matches? I mean really?

Ikr had a kalist a while ago in champ select she said her internet is garbage and that if she disconnected it wasn't her fault...she never connected and we lost :)

This makes me cry. Just had a game with an Annie (another acc ofc) where she was consistently feeding the enemy: I was starting to get stressed so I said: Wtf Annie, how does one miss an Annie ult?
She responded: Lag!!!!!! It's not my fault, it's my PC!!!!
I responded: You couldn't fix your PC BEFORE joining my ranked match?
She responds: I'm fixing it now?
Me: What the f*ck?
Annie: I don't really care.
Mmkay, good to know. [zombie-brand-facepalm]
Holy shit that would piss me off that sucks man ;/
I think i need to buy a plush rabbit so I can wring its neck

I just physically abused my giant stuffed Daffy Duck because of that match. :D So I feel ya. :D

Yeah, she drag 4 other players into a game she's more or less guaranteed to mess up but it's not her fault. Mmmkay.

Ignorance doesn't understand logic. I had a guy yesterday who was afk for 15 minutes and said it's because his computer shut down, but I'm the bad guy for being upset. That's just blatant ignorance. Fact is, these people with garbage systems don't care that they are wasting other peoples time and because Riot does nothing to them, they will keep on doing it. Like people are telling us in this thread, the proof is in their chat. Ban these people already.

Honestly, I don't care if people wanna play on their Intel Pentium 1 computers but for gods sake, keep it away from ranked goddamnit, you won't climb with a system that can't handle the game on low settings anyway and you're just pissing people off since you are ruining their matches and wasting their time, wish people would get this already. 1 player should not be allowed to waste 2-4 hrs total of other people's effective time and cost them LP.

Riot lets them so they will do it. It sucks.

Then I will simply start calling for reports, I don't know if it's an offense according to league rules, but it should be.
It would be great if Riot enforced a minimum computer specs requirement or a latency requirement before letting people queue for ranked. However that is never going to happen. It goes against Riots business model to exclude players. If they cant play ranked here, they leave and go to another game and spend their money there. Which as players we might not care, but Riots bank account does.

Honestly, I don't think Riot should have to mommy every damn person who plays the game, somewhere along the line there has to be at least some measure of personal responsability.
Sure, but that's not the world we live in.
That's a great concept except for the problem that there's not always an issue until after the game starts. If the problem arises during the game, you can't blame them for not being able to see the future. Say for example they're lagging in the game. Whenever I've been lagging, I make sure to test my ping in a custom game before playing any norms or ranked. But if the ping is fine in the test, and then goes to shit ten minutes into a ranked game, you can't reasonably (because I'm sure there's people that will anyways) get mad at somebody for that. It's their computer (or wifi), and the issue isn't always there at the beginning. If there's nothing to fix, then how are they supposed to fix it. Shit happens. Even the best computer can have problems, even the best wifi can bug out from time to time. The fact that you automatically assume they have 'garbage systems' (to quote Dragfin) is a problem with your mentality. You aren't the bad guy for being upset, you're the bad guy for taking it out on a person when it's beyond their control.

Yet alot of people are fully aware they have bad specs and shitty internet but still go ahead and play ranked. If an issue starts on a at least medium spec system it can often be resolved quicky by simply restarting and reconnecting. On an old spec system with bad internet however no ammount of tweaking will help and to be fair, the middle of a ranked game is hardly the time to be tweaking ones specs.

And to be fair, if it messes up, you fix it however you can. If they're tweaking something in the middle of a game for no reason, fine, that's an issue. But if they're trying to fix a problem that showed up during the game, then why get upset with them. They're actively working to resolve the issue so they can get back to the game. And yeah, it can often be easier to fix the problem just by restarting and connecting. But that's not always the case. I can see where yeah, if you have a legitimately shitty computer (my old one for example, couldn't even watch youtube videos on it properly), then you shouldn't be playing highly team-dependant games. But the examples you guys are giving aren't saying that at all. You're just assuming it's an old spec system because it took long to fix. If you have a great computer that works perfectly fine every time you play, then one match it just bugs out and you have to fix it in-game, that doesn't mean you shouldn't be playing after that. If the person tries to fix it, and they apologize for being away for so long, there's no reason (imo) to be upset with them.

I'm talking about people playing this game in ranked mode on riggs or internet connections that clearly can't handle it properly. Not single isolated incidents or modes that are made for practice.
I couldn't give a damn if someone bugs/lags out during my normal games, those are just for practice. But seriosuly, people should make sure their machines are well oiled before bringing it into the competitive environment.

But that's what I'm saying. It doesn't matter how well oiled their machines are, problems can arise anyways. Are you going to blame that person for the problem occurring, when they literally have no control over it? I'm not talking about people with buggy computers. Lets say you specifically encounter a problem during a ranked game. Presumably your computer is in tip-top shape, since you're complaining about people not making sure theirs are. It's not your fault if you did everything you could to prevent any possible issues. That's just serious bad luck, and it happens.
So here's a fun scenario:
My desktops USB wireless card has some sort of driver issue, where once every few days (maybe every other week) it stops working. Unplugging it and plugging it back in fixes the problem, so it's about a 10-15 second down time. What's your feeling on something like that?
10-15 seconds is hardly an issue. Let's however say that you had a real problem, for instance: Ur usb card making your game unplayable for the duration of the game. I'd definately ask you why you are joining the game knowing you have a severe issue with your rigg. Is that unreasonable?
