If you think only about yourself, you won't climb either way. League is a team game, and worrying about just YOUR LP isn't working as a team.
Help your fellow summoner (CoughIgnoringRetconCough) and report the person. You won't get your LP back, but you'll stop them in the future from taking more and more from people.
Or if you are so much for your own LP, did you know if they are banned they have a 0% chance to show up on your team again? Woah, they can't take another 20 LP. Congrats you just saved YOUR LP.

What he is mentioning is an issue that is still unaddressed, yes you can report someone but that only fixes future problems and ignores the present, that troll has still ruined the game, and that's the issue, yes he can report and hope for the best in the future but that's still a game down the drain. Sure, one game might not be everything but it doesn't mean that it isn't a problem.
P.S. Your whole "teamwork" thing is extremely irrelevant and just seems like you're trying desperately to strengthen your argument.

If they did it for one person, people will flood them with requests to do it for them, saying so and so costed them the LP and therefor should get it back.
And I'm using the teamwork thing because this game relies on you working as a team to be successful. It doesn't matter how good you are. if you don't work as a team, you can still get stomped. I fed a Zed 15 kills like a moron and still won because my team actually worked together to shut him down.
You are not everything on your team. Work with your team and fellow players to solve the problem. Doing nothing about it doesn't solve it. If a child steals cookies from the cookie jar in front of you and you don't do anything about it, it tells the child it's okay to do that. We have to play the parent here, not the bystander.

every game i troll and throw games. I have over 100 of ranked games that I ruined. I never got banned. please tell me where you heard of this myth that riot actually bans people for champ select trolling or in game throwing. cause I never encountered a warning through my 100 of games of deliberate throwing. I mean one look at my stats just screams "troll". 100 KDA on some champs? yet terrible win rates? please stop spreading such false lies about the ban system and what it punishes unless you yourself have tested it out on smurfs. I have, and I've seen to what extent this system fails. My stats are proof of that.

Jari1 votesBronze 5 is possibly the worst example area for it. Anything is possible. You can go 0/50 with team comparing and still win because the enemy team can't cooperate. And vise-versa on that too.
Also, like I said, people have to actively report you. Clearly they aren't doing that. If you feel like it's alright though, go tell some Riot employees in their ticket system. :P

9 reports is so common. and I've had over 100 of ranked games i trolled. thats what? over 100 reports even if it was ONLY ONE PERSON that reported me. Given that at least 23 team mates are raging over the game I throwed on purpose and opponents feeling bad for my team mates on how hard I trolled, I'd say I average a good 34 reports per game. thats a solid 300 plus reports. again, you are supposed to be banned off of two or three good reports. I have 100 ranked games trolled. at least 100 reports (im being very very very generous with that number) and no ban.

That's why. Those players broke the code and Riot can't do anything because of it. They'd either have to ban both of you, even if one person didn't get enough reports, or ban neither of you, even if one of you hit the point. Otherwise they'd get marked as favoritism, as that guy got banned but this one is okay?
A lot of games do this, not just League. That's why I was saying Bronze 5 is the worst example. Most people stuck down there are toxic and the toxicity ruins coordination.

Jari1 votesThe point is that it's harder to take action, because then it needs a reaction to the one reporting. To do that, they'd have to look into his reports too, which ends up in a chain. Before you know it, half of the community is suspended.
Also, there's the chance that you were either not even reported, or that those that are reporting you spam the crap out of it to a point where there's no weight (Again. Bronze 5. I'd believe there's no weight.)

Ok. My only problem with this is that when reporting I will have to divert additional attention to a person I'd just much rather ignore, sometimes it just feels better to instaleave postgame lobby than reporting. :/
But I can see why it would be better if we all take the time to push that report button.

Taking the easy path and giving in to a bully's demands might help you in the short term. But it shows you have weak character, and for the bully it reinforces the idea that they can do what they want and people will bow to them.
Screencap your champ select, host it on Imgur, and include a link in the report you file. 30 seconds of "effort" on your part can make a big difference.

combo + tld + aa + passive takes easy 40% of their hp every time and whilst they stunned you walk away so you take 40% of their hp and lose none, meanwhile you keep healing their poke.
So after 3 combos, because they probably got a potion, they got to leave lane.
You are also fairly impossible to be towerdived and after lvl 6 they have no hope of killing you.
first 2 lvls are shit just grab whatever gold u can safely and just make sure to get the xp. after that it gets easy af
