a whole team buying it after being aced and directly doing 750 true damage to pushing minions

Ya well maybe the team wouldn't have been aced if they didn't make strategies like that.

It would only end up at 30% max HP vs champions 750 vs minions with 5 Redemptions.

So 5 people, with minions probably in base, waste an item slots and the equivalent of 2100/0.7=3000 golds for a slot inefficient item. WOW.

Can't wait to see how they win the game when they respawn. I mean, I heard 75% health regen and 75% mana regen Vayne is pretty good, but can't wait to test it.

That's not the question, you can buy, use it, then sell it, only a few gold is lost and if that just saved you the game, that's not a huge deal. (if you want maths, here are : you lose 630 gold for the item itself, and lose 330 for getting back boots, so 1000 gold who's running around for a chance of saving your game)

The fact is, this item allows a team who deserved to lose (aced, 50mins in, 1 inhibitor down) a 100% chance of doing direct damage to minions and have a small chance of coming back, but I highly doubt this item was designed for this.

IMHO, if the team sacrifices 1330 gold in lategame to buy these item on each team member, thus sacrificing 6650 total gold from their team, they bloody deserve what little damage they deal to minion. It's still an horrible trade, and they will respawn even weaker, but hey, if you think that's sacrificing an item on each of your team members is worth it, while what you are doing is simply prolonging the inevitable, go for it.

That's the kind of information I was looking at, they should up it to 30seconds maybe (need to test), but at least they added a timer, which was necessary for such a design.

what's stopping 5 people from stacking this?

400 health = 1066.67 gold 75% base health regeneration = 225 gold 75% base mana regeneration = 375 gold 10% cooldown reduction = 266.67 gold

1066.67 + 225 + 375 + 266.67 = 1933.34

Which means in order to be cost effective the passives will have to give 166.66 gold worth of effects.

The passive definitely does do that, but otherwise the item is not very strong at all.

The health is the best stat. There are no other completed items in the game currently that offer less than +100% health or mana regeneration. 10% CDR is ... unremarkable at this point.

Even the first passive is weak. Ardent Censor and Mikael's Crucible both offer +15% instead of +10% (but they may be changing)

So you would literally be buying this item for the Active.

I'm honestly not against the whole "Can be used while dead" part of this item, ...

I just don't really understand the logic behind giving this item that exception.
