Why doesn't Pix drock SpellThiefs passive?

I think I may have made this topic before, but it has always confused me. Other champions can proc it with things like it, but Lulu can't. (Malzahar Passive for example.) If I had to hazard a guess, it is probably a byproduct of it having been tweaked back in like Season 3 so that Lulu wouldn't get the kills from teamates that killed a target when she gave them Pix.

It would make laning far more interesting being able to give Pix to a teammate and have them poke to get Lulu her item 3303 gold. It'd be a nice boost to Support Lulu too.
Riot please do this.

Uhhh... if I'm not mistaken they added it in 5.18. Pix should be able to proc Edge once per attack.
