Kog does what Morde does but from 700 range why should i break my head to play a melee in high elo, when i can just play kog build guinsoo+bruiser items, shred everything, being hard to kill, having frozen mallet slow, and on top of that a lulu giving me ardent bonus damage+shield and boosts
makes no sense at all

Ahristocats1 votesmordekaiser was literally transformed into an adc with the last rework dragon and xp passive are both part of his power budget and wasted top he has no cc and is an easy target for ganks because he's squishy, he's able to kill people bot due to his support bringing cc, and with the support he's able to 2v3 later in the game he does so much damage that he doesn't need an adc, but a toplaner bringing more cc
but if there is someone existing in league, that does exactly what he does but from 700 range you know that there is a problem
kog needs to be gutted hard, literally pick/ban in lck
BeatzBoyFTW1 votesYou do remember he got nerfed into an oblivion for being too OP in the duo lane & was heavily pushed back into solo lanes (both from balance attempting & request from community), so hard that Riot even had to revert his Bot lane Trinity/Rylai recommended item set back to the old "Just Build full AP" Doran Shield solo build.
An experienced Mordekaiser in solo lanes can also have the capability to 1v2 should he get ganked. Not as impressive as Illaoi or Darius, but does indeed get the job done if played right. He also has some Supportive utility like providing his teammate an AoE damage & a heal if he activates his W near him (also don't forget a ranged Rylai slow W when catching enemies while one teammate is ahead of him), and there's nothing wrong bringing Unsealed Spellbook on Morde top for Dragon control.
