Years ago i left the game because i went studying medicine. I left the account on diamond 1 in season 3. I was planning to come back soon around the summer, until i see what you did with the dynamic queue. Seriously? Imqt is waiting 40 min to get a game, everyone knew that it would happen in high elo, you have far less players than in bronze/silver, there is around 1000 players in diamond 1. Most of them don't play soloQ all the time but want to get challenger in 5v5 tryhard and hope to be pro one time so they always plays as 5 , what does that means? that means that near EVERYONE will premade as 5 and go to soloQ, so unless you play yourself with a team there is a high chance that you get matched with 5v5 team. https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/4124px/spoiler_echo_fox_vs_dynamic_queue_na_solo_q/ for example, or the CLG game that some poeple saw on clgaming. I DON'T want to play with a team made of 5 people that plays league everyday to be a pro, i JUST want to play alone but well waiting 40 min to play a game, how is this even possible.

edit: according to lyte 10 min ago, there will be a new special queue for solo players where duo/3/4/5 isn't in this queue

High Elo should be worldwide matching though. I know this is problematic for certain regions that are not as good but...

that would be great but i have a 5 times higher ping on na than euw so i think it could be unfair for certain people

Iif riot wants to fixe the quaility of games in high elo, they need to get ride of premade as 5 in soloQ, it doesn't even makes sens

soloQ is here to scale your solo experiance,

i hate dota 2, but they also have a dynamic Q, the difference is that there is 2 numbers, one if you decide to play alone, and one if you decide to play as 2/3/5

It's not soloq anymore. Solo que is gone, it's not even called that in the client. It's ranked draft now.

Seems like a good solution could be to make two queues: Soloqueue and Dynamic Queue. One is true solo play, the other is for teams of 2,3, or 5. Priority would be for 5s to play other 5s , 2s + 3s to play other 2s + 3s.

99% of the player base would immediately go to the True Solo Queue and the Dynamic Queue would fail/be abandoned.

I.e. removing solo queue was the worst decision Riot has ever made, bar none.

Naw.

The dynamic queue is mostly for casual audience, remember. While true solo queue would be played by some, I'd guess the majority would go for dynamic queue because it means they can play with their friends. Can't forget that about 70-90% of the player base is gold and below. Most of them care more about playing with friends than playing a true ranked experience.

'Dynamic Queue' is literally the same thing as normal games except now you get a worthless rating at the end.

Like I don't think it's right for ranked either but I'm just pointing out that casual player-bases will prefer it. I think what would be best is the solo queue/dynamic queue split (True solo and true dynamic). A good chunk would rather play alone and a good chunk would get 2-4 friends to party with.

True Dynamic matchmaking would take forever because not enough solo players will want to join it

Right now Riot is just forcing solo queuers to fill in for Premades to shove Dynamic Matchmaking down our throats.

This would increase queue times for everyone because it slits the matchmaking service even more, also the system already matches 5 queues with 5 or 4q and matches 4qs with 4qs

No, the question is what's the point of Dynamic Queue right now?

It's not Solo Queue nor is it Ranked teams. It's essentially normal games except now you get a rank that means next to nothing.

Then nobody will play Dynamic Queue. Riot is well aware Dynamic Queue fuks over solo players and that Dynamic queue would never work if Solo Queuers could opt out of it.

Riot has to take all players accounts into consideration. Especially since high elo players are more valuable. They tend to have spent more money and spent more time playing this game and trying to master it.

He was saying that high elo people spend more money and time on this game than anyone else, I know since I am unranked and spend 4-6 hours on League per day I try to get to be the best player that I can be but as of right now I don't play ranked because I want to get to the point where I can compete in every position before I can do that. So its not strictly high elo players who put a lot of time and money into the game.

I've had to wait 20 minutes just to look for games, I don't want to wait a extra 20 (+) to find one. I also see Riot all the time say they take Diamond and Challenger players into account more than most other players. I'm not one, and I like to play for fun, but you have a right to say this. That guy is one of the many who are trying to justify what Riot does. I have yet to even get a urge to play as it is right now. Its not that I don't want to play, but with the length of time I have to go through to find a game, go through all the steps Riot implemented, load up the game, and play through it, I could had just spent a whole hour doing something else productive. I already get a hard time for playing 20 minutes, I don't think my family will tolerate a hour per game.

Um.. I take it you didnt read the patch notes. It matches you against Duos if your Duo, Trios if you're trio, ect. It will not match 5 singles with a premade of 5s. Rarely will you even get a trio when there's only a duo.
