Can we talk about how full tank Ekko can stil deal the damage of a full AP mid laner.

Seriously, wtf. No champion should have that kind of damage without building any major damage items. Not to mention his massive AOE's and safety ult make going full tank even more rewarding. His kit should not be made for endless chasing with one of the best escaping abilities in the game if he is not going to build weak AP (squishier builds high damage items). Lower that kids base stats so he cant deals tons of damage with next to no AP unless he gets some.

Well lets talk his base abilities. Consider he doesnt build AP

Q- 120 when hits, 160 when hits on coming back W passive- 5% of targets missing health. If target is missing 1k hp, its 50 damage. E- 170 damage maximum R- 500 damage on last level Passive- 190 damage on lvl 18

That means on lvl 18, without AP, full combo of Ekko does arround 1k damage on target without any MR. Realistically he deals 700. And thats ONLY if his ultimate hits. His damage is not that high. It isnt really. He is just durable so can stay longer in a fight, and his damage ramps up over time.

But having that much durability with the massive amounts of cc, AOEs, shields, % missing health, and a wide poke at very long range. Not to mention many forms of escape, kiting, and dodging. He is lacking any weaknesses that any other tank have, on top of that, he has decent base stats with good AP ratios and a form of health regain with his ult. So being able to go full tank with this kit and even that damage is a bit much imo.

Well, how is he different from gragas for example?

Gragas can't slow you every 7 seconds from over 1000 units away without having to worry about letting it sit in one spot for max damage and slow (while similar, the barrel is stationary once it reaches the area where as Ekko's Q constantly moves and increases in size). Nor can he dive and ult back to safety. Also he does not have abilities which scale with +100% AP like Ekko has. He also does not deal massive damage every 3 consecutive hits to the same target and then get a movement speed buff like Ekko can.

Ekko doesnt have 100% AP ratio on any ability. His ulti has 130% tho :D. But we are talking here about Ekko tank. One that does not build any ap. You know:

His shield also scales 130% AP, and although not 100%, his passive is 80% AP which is a ton of ap scaling for just hitting 3 marks which 2 can come from Q alone and a blink for the third with E.
