Guess people are still too used to the auto lock function from the last champion select.

The worst feeling when you and your duo get the roles you wanted ... but then someone doesn't lock in- so the next game you're sent to, both you and your friend get the secondary roles instead. To make matters worse someone automatically locks in as Jihn top >_> ... I cringe hard man.

Yes Riot completely failed with their new system. This is what happens when your testing pool only consists of internal people and elite players. Every IT person in the world knows your testing environment needs to mimic your real environment as much as possible. This does not mean just from a technical standpoint. It means from a user standpoint as well.

How can you test a new system and see how it will be used if everyone testing it already knows about it, knows how it works, and is in the physical mindset that they are testing something and should be paying attention at a higher level? Answer you cant. Enter Riot. Its great that have really skilled people testing new balance patches and champions (We all know how Riot only cares about the top 10%) They should be testing new features with the other 90%.

Grouped Dynamic queue should be the poster child for Riot only listening to the top 10% and again building something for the supreme minority instead of improving the game for the majority.

Haha. DQ seems broken as hell, I just got booted from a game for not locking a champion despite not even having moved pass banning phase. And it definately wasn't my turn to ban as I was first pick. -.- So now I've lost my daily dodge and a 6 minute penalty cause system doesn't seem to know what it is doing itself. How swell. :>

Edit: It happened again.

Now you know how ARAM players felt after introduction of this mode..

(Now is slightly better, ause everyone got used to ARAM, or made ARAM-only accounts)

Jorencice1 votes

Smh aram only account.

People have to try hard everything.

Oh well I personally will never player aram till its full champion pool unlocked with no rerolls at all and like a hour long dodge timer to keep salty people from dodging champ they didn't want to play.

Rerolls aren't that bad.. But i understand you :)

LOL happend to me 4 times in a row last night and I said fuck this - I'm going to be early no time for this.

Riot needs to do something about this...NOW.

Champion select can take up to 9 minutes. It's no wonder that the last picks often forget whats happening. Or maybe had to piss for like 5 minutes and it was taking so long they couldn't hold it.

First thing...remove pick intent - it serves no purpose. It's only purpose now is to troll the enemy team into thinking you are playing another roll. Just remove that - there's a solid 35 seconds a game back in my life. (people are ready to start banning the second they come into the game. It's basically the same 6 every-time (graves, jax, mundo, rengar, fiora, kench) you don't need 35 seconds to think about the first ban.

Then I think probably a 10 second reduction in pick time for each roll would be acceptable.

All these changes you suggest are already being looked at by riot and should be out soon.

Ive had worse. 12 times in a row, yea wasted a full 30 minutes on that champ select. The times in the PBE are nice dropping it a full 200+ second max capped time (its down to like 500 or something like that), but they need it at max 300 seconds, 10 second pick intent, 15 seconds for each ban, with 15 second lock in, with the champion being locked in at the end of the 15 seconds. Because the champ select would be so quick I wouldnt have a reason to ignore it for those long drawn out times

"Shhhhh, just let it happen..." -Trustworthy Riot Employee

I mean, it's not like we already had a mode where you consistently got to play the exact champion and role you wanted, amirite?

I'm waiting 8 minutes for queues to even pop. I'm only Gold. This is ridiculous.

Stop banning Jhin and queue as support. Problem solved. ;p
