I admit that I haven't played her but she seemed pretty decent when I faced her as Ziggs. She could dodge almost everything and create pretty good lane pressure elsewhere. Her damage didn't seem horrible either but not enough to be an assassin.

Kai Guy3 votesNot out long enough for people to invest in her mechanics and given a high skill cap lots of folks will pick up and fail with her. This will create game losses that some times are entirely the tali players fault. Worked ground throws people off, despite how awesome her q is. her R does not do damage, and requires teammates to follow up and once agian her being new means folks dont quite know her kit and follow up late or the caster mis casts and its a fail wall. Some champions that on release where thought to be trash and who i personally got flammed for as they where "garbage champs" 
Tldr, give her a bit more time and it will mellow out a good deal. her utility is awesome but a lot of players only value damage output via instant burst.

LSmaster161 votesI'm actually not sure, she has a rough time against assassins like most mages but aside from that she seems pretty good to me. I guess maybe people who are new to the champion having trouble with the worked ground and comvbo could be dragging the winrate down.

One of the main reason, imo, some players, at least the loud ones, say is bad because no pro players are playing . Just wait when pro players begin to play her. Those sheep will follow.

Non damage ult, Highly conditional Q that is easily dodged, E W combo that counts on the high latency of players in order to work. A skill cap that ever zed player claims that zed has.
I am not even a Taliyah player but i have seen her played enough to understand her problems. I am not sure why you use your one of as justification of her strength. You are not even a mid main (as far as ranked is concerned). Why would you think that someone holding out against you is positive in a meaningful way? When i end up mid (as a jungle top main)and someone does not beat me it shows 1 of 2 things. The champion is either weak or the player is garbage. I did not beat them, they failed to take advantage of my weakness.
This post is a prefect example why you have not hit gold again this season.

It also has little to do with anything I wrote. You think I played Kassadin and Lucian jungle on here because I'm trying to climb? I'm just having fun with whatever I feel like.
Also, I didn't say she was good. I only gave my experience and was curious about all the hate.

deadlychuck1 votesShe completely lacks agency as a champion. She lacks burst damage, she lacks early game pressure to get her into her roaming phase, and she has really isn't compensated with utility enough for her damage loss.
Her kit is very similar to ziggs, except with mobility and utility ult and passive.
So you pretty much just player her like a TF with no burst damage, and unreliable CC.
