If you noticed you didn't peel for your ADC...

And they ask for peel for the next fight, don't respond with "Your positioning was shit!" when you know for a fact you have no idea how he positioned because you forgot he existed the moment that team fight started. Cause sadly, a lot of these mage supports don't really have the tools necessary to solo peel for their adc against anyone who can't just be melted by their "sup" damage. Karma Brand Lux And of course a lot of em are just auto-fill and also forget you exist once the team fight starts. Just thought I'd get that off my chest, cause I'm sick and tired of this "If you died as adc your positioning must've sucked!" Narrative.

I am going to take this post as a jab against support players. with that in mind, here is my reply:

I can't do everything for everybody all the time in the skirmish. If I don't support the front line they get picked off for free so I have to do it and while I am doing it the ADC has to hide herself somewhere proper not walk up to the assassin. If the front line is streaching me one way and the ADC is actively streaching me another way by creating a situation where my peel is needed at the same time, than what I notice is not: "I am not peeling".

it is "I am unable to peel because the ADC is stupid"

I wasn't really even referring to supports, (well the auto-fill ones, yeah) but the normal support mains do their jobs, however sometimes that isn't enough and at least one person from the team should try to help the back line out, sadly this just isn't the case in low elo and it makes climbing as ADC even harder than it already is.

And btw, I'm not a bronze ADC, don't talk to me like I'd actually run towards an assassin. :\

I apologize my experience with ADCs is obviously from bronze therefore attack-moving the enemy nexus at game start is the usual strategy.

One of the most stupidest moments of soloque silver smurfing is when the following scenario happens.

  1. You get a fed adc
  2. Your melee frontliners blindly charges in
  3. Your backline cant provide sufficient damage because of the tank in front of them with nobody to peel
  4. The enemy destroys the isolated frontline with ease
  5. You lose

why can your front line die but theirs cant

why can your front line die but theirs cant

Because they can die and theirs cant. Like say the enemy has a poppy, and leona initiated into the enemy backline. You know whats going to follow right.

This is 100% what I'm talking about man. Sadly, low gold isn't any different from silver, this same shit happens to me still. I main Ekko and adc and since I know the pain of getting dove on I always help peel for my adc if I have to in a team fight, and I would assume my 64% WR on Ekko shows that that's what I should be doing. It's just a slap in the face when they tell you your positioning was bad, as if they paid any attention to you in the first place.

with karma and lux you atleast have a shield to stop the caster minion from 1v1'ing the adc :P

perhaps it isnt your role to peel for an adc.
