Why you're losing lane (and by extension games) as Yasuo

He's a mid laner. Whenever they've made adjustments to his stats, it has been with his role as a mid laner in mind. He's most easily countered 1v1 by fighters, and most of them make it so he's effectively down an entire ability because they have nothing for him to block.

And why? Because he's an crit-based assassin (as Yi was previously called) who can choose to build a little more defense after his crit to act a little like a fighter. But he doesn't have Tryndamere's ultimate to force himself to survive, nor does he work well with items catered to primary fighters.

If you're going to play him, do yourself a favor and stop trying to go up against Garen and Riven. Hell, you only get to play him half the time thanks to his ban rate anyway, why make it less enjoyable for yourself?

######note: This has nothing to do with the Yas in my last game, it's actually a response to the Yas who dodged champ select right before that guy, since he dodged just because the enemy picked an actual top and mid didn't want to swap.

As a Nasus player, no, please do continue to pick him top. I love having a lane I'm the bully in from level 2 onward.

Please, I love being able to make you completely irrelevant by pressing W, nuking you with Q, and out-sustaining your damage with ease once I have any item that gives mana. Lanes I can freely stack without my opponent being able to fight back are my favorite.

So, please, do continue to pick Yasuo top.

As a Nasus player I have less sympathy for you than I do people who play champs that take more than the tutorial's knowledge to do well with.

Other then the fact he's a skirmisher and not a Assassin, I agree with you.

On the other hand, he does just fine in the match ups top where he's up against ranged champions.

But Kayle's his strongest counter.

His strongest counter? I feel like Malz, Akali (at least old Akali) Fiora, Jax, and Riven are all up there lol.

But, I didn't say he was strong against all ranged champions and Kayle is also a hybrid Melee/Range champion who just happens to usually be ranged through her E.

I was speakin' from op.gg, not opinion. And no, Kayle is a ranged champion who never if ever attacks an opponent while melee, contrary to other transforming champs.

Kayle isn't his strongest counter in lane, but she's still a really strong pick into him, and may be one of the better picks into him overall due to her rather strong scaling and usefulness against him the entire game.
