It is really getting annoying how many laners bitch and moan if you tax after handing them a free double kill but then they turn around expecting every red/blue buff and constantly take camps. It's one thing to ask your jungler and then take it but it's a whole different concept when you're on your way to a camp and they take it without saying anything, acting like that camp purely exists to give them extra gold between waves.

Except the jungler still has to help clear creeps to take objectives. The laners do not have to do the same for neutral monsters.

Apples and oranges. Clearing creeps isn't optional. You literally have to do it to win. Literally. Baron and Dragon are completely, 100% optional, but are big enough that you could reward even those who aren't carrying smite with experience/gold for the time investment as well as related buffs. I don't get what you mean for leashing-- a laner doesn't get anything from that as it is.
Basically, the exp/gold change proposed by the OP would disincentivize laners poaching by making it more rewarding to be in lane rather in the jungle stealing buffs. A jungler could still donate a buff, but the laner getting it wouldn't get the attached exp/gold, just the buff.
Incognonymous1 votesAgreed. Today a Renekton took my blue, without my permission, and I couldn't stop him because my smite was on cooldown. He had more damage items than I did, and four levels on me, so I couldn't possibly have outdamaged him.
Why. The. Fuck. Are laners better suited to taking jungle monsters than the FUCKING JUNGLER?
Dock With Me1 votesIts the nature of the game... its like no one likes to play support, and its a role that gives up all its kills and cs. but if you choose to play support, thats the meta, and thats your job. to win with a jungle, you feed your carries to win games, and control the map. granted some jungles can carry games, but id be damned if a malphite took my lane when i main adc. big farm on adc = games won. If you were a udyr/pantheon/kha/rengar/j4 then i totally would understand a little bit of a tax. but theres a limit. 2-4 cs. not the whole wave, and only if the carry is winning lane. As for blue and red, only give it up if your adc/mid are winning and are strong.
Solo queue, be selfish, but not so selfish that it makes you lose.
