Instead they go and die 4v5 or.. adc is farming bot when we contest baron, or.. someone go and randomly die in enemy jungle, or.. gets caught recalling in the center of mid lane, or.. pushing a lane without wards and dying to gank, or.. many many more mistakes that even in silver are considered shameful.
How does such people are still in D5?

yeah, sometimes it's just luck in that elo..But you should be able to carry them..it's a mix of good players and really really really bad players:))..The best way is to not die too much;)..and Top actually rules there.. a good top laner carries the game;)..all you have to do is stay top and push all day, regardless if you die:))..
