Well, obvious solution is obvious.

But this time it will strike with much stronger force, why? You can already see that matchmaker has hard time assembling a team (lets be real - filling premades with solo players) across all elos, imagine what will happen if there will be even less solo players for system to fill premades, the wait times will reach insane ammounts and Riot WILL HAVE TO SCRAP THIS PICE OF SHIT ONCE FOR ALL.

Im already on a break from ranked, or even from LoL in general, lets see what Riot will do when waiting time will match playing time.

Nothing will change. I haven't played ranked or spent money since the season reset. It didn't change anything. Games don't die overnight. They degrade over time.

Yes it wont die overnight, but in the begining of the seasson queue times where much shorter and now its 10 min averange, few solo players less and it will rise more.

The reason that the que times were alot shorter at the beginning of the season is because there were alot of supports.

But now with all the changes to AD items there are far less supports.

I do play support in ranked and normals since i am a support main but honestly, everyone just prefer to see a high KDA and kill people over supporting their team and make the plays.

Pretty much this.

Some people have stopped playing out of protest, and others out of a loss of interest. Without any legitimate contest /ranking, people with a more competitive spirit are going to go somewhere else, leaving the "social" players behind and Riot will have their safe space for tweens or whatever it is they think they want.

You do realize with ESports gaining traction that the top ESports Games (of which League is the current Leader in the World over all Genres of Esports) won't need a single penny from the people that actually play the game.

They no longer need our money... though they will still gladly take it.

Consider that Immortals was funded for $100,000,000. Yeah, that's One Hundred Million invested into an NA Esports Team. Not even a Korean one.

Esports are Organizing... Players are starting to move towards Unions and even Salary Pay. Even branching out to Television for greater Advertising Profits... such as TBS working on E-League for CS:GO, and One-Offs like Blizzard's "Hero of the Dorms" event.

So if Players think that Players not spending money is going to change things... don't hold your breath. The only way League fails now if is Esports as a whole fails.

The thing is, as the esports scene develops, they get more people to play and therefore get more people to buy RP. The esports don't really make that much on their own FOR RIOT. Individual players and teams make quite a lot.

Nothing can happen. Forums are visited by less than 1% of playerbase. Even if 1 milion stop playing there are still like 59 milion that will continue.

Doesn't matter because those 59 million can't all play with eachother, because of how matchmaking sorts players by skill.

If 50% of the players from a specific tier all quit, then matchmaking times in that tier will double.

Keep in mind that players are sorted along an exponential curve, so there are exponentially less players in silver than in bronze and so on. Also keep in mind that most players are actually unranked.

One million players is irrelevant in the unranked and bronze world, but at the upper echelon past plat it is extremely substantial. And unsuprisingly, the players that are disillusioned the most are those that enjoyed the challenge of climbing the ladder solo, so most of the people quitting are plat or higher.

That is why que times have skyrocketed in plat and above over the last week or so.

Yeah, I have a feeling Riot would just twist those stats and say "we've noticed a lot more people are queuing up in groups and solo queue numbers have dropped significantly. This indicates to us that players prefer dynamic queue over solo queue so we've decided not to bring solo queue back ever."

Just keep being vocal and stop giving them money. Once they miss their profit goals for a few quarters then some heads will role.

I haven't spent any money at all.

However the reason why Riot doesn't give a shit is because their numbers are coming from young teenagers now who are put onto computers at a very young age. They are actually bringing in a lot of young teens who are in elementary school etc and getting them to market "HEY GUYS COME I NEED FRIENDS FOR DYNAMIC Q" and open mommys and daddys wallet.

That's what Riot is doing. They've screwed us (the young adults) over for the pre-teens/next generation of gamers. Basically they are saying to us. Sorry Grandfather'd players who help this game become what it is.

However we've taken enough of your money that we don't need you anymore and we can move on without you.

That is the sad reality of it.

Haven't ranked I think for 2 months now, and will keep it that way till solo q comes out.

I use to also buy RP every week and the last time I bought RP .. I can't even remember.

The only problem would be for 4 men premades which aren't that high in numbers.

Also Riot could always say: "We did it! Now every1 is enjoying LoL as Teams instead of going solo!" and call it a day.

Every time I look up the rank of people who supports Dyn Q, they are people who STILL can't climb well or are in irrelevant and noncompetitive ranks. Not that I'm that good but I at least know why Dyn Q is bad.

That's not going to solve anything. Dyn Q benefits mechanically bad players as well as players who lack general game knowledge. So this benefits majority of players as 80% of them are gold and below. Not to say I'm good either but still. Capitalizing on mistakes become much more apparent in high plat/low diamond thus making a premade in this ELO is tremendously advantageous. Why would 80% of players complain about something that helps them? Dynamic boosting it is called.

You need months of not playing ranked to even start decaying, and like 10 days before you start decaying you get a warning about it. All you have to do is play 1 ranked match and you'Re good for another few months.

For players in Platinum, Diamond, Master & Challenger Tiers there is League Points inactivity decay over time - if you haven't played ranked in 28 days or 10 days if you are in the Master or the Challenger Tier. It decays per the set amount every 7 days afterwards until you play a ranked game. The amount of LP that you lose per decay period depends on the tier that you're in:

Bronze - 0 Silver - 0 Gold - 0 Platinum - 35 Diamond - 50 Master & Challenger - 250 Notes:

While you're inactive, you're hidden from the ladder view for everyone except yourself. Match Making Rating doesn't decay when LP decay occurs. Promotions Series will end after 28 days (even if you play games within 28 days)

Ermm Reddit supports Dynamic? Pretty sure only the mods support it because it's something Riot did. They policed every post that had to do with Dynamic queue because enough people were furious about it to flood the front page. Being a bunch of boot-licking psychopaths, they ran to their keyboards tears streaming down their faces because people were angry with Riot and deleted everything.

Rest easy, Reddit hates Dynamic just as much as we do. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're saying.

It's not that the mods support dynamic que, many of them don't actually from my talks with them, the problem was that it devolved into unintelligent discussion of "fuck riot and Riot "lyingsonofabitch" Socrates dynamic que is garbage" bring on the front page everyday which, in their eyes, decreased the quality of the thread into a shouting match.

To my understanding they're okay with a thread complaining about dynamic que asking as long as it actually adds something to the conversation or is done relatively respectfully with reasons for why everyone hates it rather than just raw emotion
