I struggle to farm with Miss Fortune soooo bad

I was hoping someone could give me some advice.

Miss Fortune has been my favorite champion for years; however, since her last rework and abilities change, I find last hitting with her to be so difficult. When I compared my farming to my second favorite adc, Jinx, I found my farm was almost always double with jinx. I struggle so much to last hit with Miss Fortune before I can afford BF Sword. I don't have this problem with jinx. Is this common with other players or am I just doing something wrong?

I'm baffled how you could have an issue with MF last hitting. Her Innate gives her a giant margin of error for finishing off minions.

Are you just auto-attacking them when they're still healthy instead of last-hitting? Because if you're doing that, it reduces her auto-attack damage significantly.

Believe me, I'm baffled, too. I try to avoid hitting minions excessively, unless I want to lifesteal a bit. It seems that I just screw up last hitting. I wonder if it would help if I could see the minion's attacks more clearly, so I could time it better? It's also possible that my mind assumes Miss Fortune's standard attack speed is greater than it really is... Hm...

If anything last hitting should be a lot easier as MF, since your passive gives you bonus damage on a fresh target.

If you're pushing, try shooting another minion when your target is almost ready and then switch back.

hey there, last hitting with mf is quite easy if u are struggling, don't feel embarrassed to practice last hitting against bots, it can help u with timing

I think I see your problem(s). Jinx has really high base attack speed, but that means that you're pushing cs instead of "last hitting". Last hitting is good for keeping the wave around the middle so that the enemy jungler has less ease of ganking. Miss fortune SHOULD be easier to last hit with (only hitting at the last possible moment). So try to go into a custom game and practice hitting creeps with the lowest amount of health possible.

Now if your aim is to push in asap then what you can do is abuse MF's passive. For every auto on a new target it applies her passive, which deals extra damage - so alternate her attacks between 2 creeps and you'll do 50+ more damage per hit.

This can also be done on towers. Additionally, this is pretty much what you should be doing with your W up vs champions in fights.

Miss Fortune has the lowest AD in the game basically, so it's understandable.

Your Q applies your passive up to two times allowing you to use your passive in between the double ups to last hit or whatever
Q resets your autos if you use it perfectly (not sure if it's a glitch or not but it works) so it can save you a minion or two
Your E is really useful for last hitting extremely low health minions you're being zoned off from, don't be afraid to use it for a little bit of damage
Ask your support to help you (especially when the minions are under tower), most melee champions might not be able to do much though
