Is unit collision intentionally supposed to get you killed?
In the many years that I've played this game, unit collision has always been a problem. My first year or two of playing, unit collision was the occasional "oh shit" moment that screwed you over, and was mostly forgettable. However, in the recent years, I've seen it only get worse, as in, almost every single game this is a noticeable issue.
When I say "unit collision", I am referring to a moment where you tell your champion to go somewhere, they turn to that direction and weeble wobble between some minions, in a display of "should I go this way or that way hmmm", essentially leaving them spinning in place. Needless to say, most of the time, my enemies are smart enough to pounce on me in this "fish in a barrel" moment.
Is unit collision intentionally designed to get you stuck on minions? Or this a bug that is less important than releasing new skins? I understand we cannot have champions walking through minions or other champions. They need to go around them. However, it's pretty ridiculous to have your champion pacing back and forth between a couple of minions because they can't decide if it's better to go left or right.
of all champions allowed to ignore unit collision?
top is strong is because her W lets her ignore unit collision, which gives her a huge advantage over other melee tops when it comes to engaging and disengaging.
