Thank you for starting a trend of saying "ez" at the end of a game instead of "gg". It shows the enemy team you are a pompous asshole who does not care about sportsmanship or having fun, but winning. It doesn't matter that the enemy team had an AFK or a feeder, just as long as you win, no matter how easily.

And it is exactly that. Kids don't think of the people that are playing the champions, they just think of the game. If we were in a room with the 9 people we were playing with I highly doubt people would say 99% of the shit they say in the game. If you were in a tournament and you said that it would be "taunting" and you should be fined, similar to how Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks was when he had that horrid interview after the NFC Championship 2 years ago. But these are people that you may or may not ever play with again, so try not to get butthurt because someone says "ez." I would bet money that they weren't trying to offend you.
If they say "Man, you guys may have actually won if it wasn't for that retard." THEN you report them, because that was intentional. They INTENTIONAL singled you out and called you something you feel is offensive (because chances are if you think "ez" is offensive I can only imagine how offended you would be by "retard")
I honestly feel like people that report people for dumbass shit like saying "ez" should be banned themselves so they can go outside and see how the world works. If a 14 year old saying "ez" at the end of the game causes you to take time out of your day to report them, no matter how small of an amount of time that may be, I question your state of mind and social life.

I exhaggerated saying i always report people for it, that doesn't change the fact that saying "ez" to the losing team is poor sportsmanship. If you were playing football and won and went up to the other team and said "easy", that's poor sportsmanship.

You CANNOT give up your rights, at best you can choose not to exercise them. A corporation cannot "make" you give them away, even if you are an agreeing party.
That being said, free speech is an incredibly misunderstood concept.
This is where the first part of your statement actually holds weight.
You can say whatever you want. You can burn the flag. And in response I can tell you to get the fuck out of my store. And in response you can boycott my establishment. And on and on.
You have to be careful of civil liberties therein though. I think you would have a hard time convincing the law that you are in the right by supporting one bigot, but not supporting all bigots. But if you refuse to do business with all bigots, there you go.
In league and with the internet in general, the line between public and private domain becomes extremely blurred.
This is all well over the level this conversation needs to be had at though.
GG EZ is a personal opinion, and people are well within their rights to express that.

If you cannot accept someones personal opinion, then I suggest you change your world view.

Even if Riot themselves considers it poor manners, it's really not anything to get angry over. And even if you do get angry, you're just baiting the reaction they want, so stop being so soft. Just report them and move on if you so please.
And all things aside, if you get your feelings hurt by two letters, you're probably better off turning /all chat off or doing /mute all at the start of a game.

(my teammate's response: "Yeah, but you're dead right?") "noobs, just give up already." Eventually my team got aced and the enemy team finally won. Just before they did, the enemy Draven started spamming "ez." The enemy jungler (a Nautilus, I think) called him out on it, saying that he was being a jerk and that the game was not 'ez' by any stretch of the word. Naut said that we had done a really good job holding things. He also said that our team wasn't the only one Draven was insulting. Whenever one person on the enemy team misplayed or didn't listen to Draven, he'd start insulting them too. The only reason their team didn't surrender was because they really had a chance at winning, and after all that time they didn't want to have it be wasted. I honored the Nautilus and reported the Draven, and it was kind of nice to know that I wouldn't be the only one making sure that he was punished for being rude.

Too bad there are way more people like draven (tbh that guy is just getting into character if you ask me).
And if anyone says "just ff" its because they are worried you are catching up or they see you have a better late game. Its exposing their insecurities and gives you a reason to keep fighting.

Anidan5 votesThe problem is that no matter what, you're going to be "soft" at some point. The popular thing on the internet is to tell people to get "thick skin" but thick skin is just that - skin. It can be rubbed raw and dry over time, no matter how thick.
It's just the small things like "ez" that can break the camel's back for someone; their final necessary chafing.
Nobody can pretend to be hard forever. We're not Malphite. We're humans and as such we feel and we get hurt, whether we want to or not. I completely understand it being an offense worth reporting for that reason. Saying "don't reply" is also far easier said than done, by the way. Crimes of passion and what have you.

I find just saying nothing and moving on to be the best thing.
Had an idiot player taunting me saying things like "why you only run?", "haha run you can't kill me 1v1 coward". I just ignored him and just played my game. A few minutes later a scenario comes up and I kill him 1v1, I don't even say a word. I just smile to myself and move on, knowing that he is probably sat behind his computer raging with egg on his face, unable to say anything and he is hoping noone remembered he called me out and then got rekt.
For a huge portion of my MoBa playing lifetime I played with chat muted always. There are times when chat is funny, like watching a bad player rage over others mistakes when he clearly is so bad, however there are times when I'm tired and just want to have a quick game and am not in the mood to deal with raging children (and the raging adult-children) and just want a relaxing peaceful game, so I just insta mute everyone in the game from the start put on some chill music and enjoy the game.

Anyway Ezreal was 1 of 10 champions and was in every game, if not 2 every game, and it was often said "gg ez" as he would often land most of his skill shots and we all congratulated them.
