I like how I get into gold, and then get team after team that is entirely incompetent.

How am I supposed to climb when half my team is 0/7 by 15 minutes? You have to get on a winstreak in order to rank up, especially between divisions, but then your shitty system tries to correct that and you will most likely drop out. I just don't see how you're expected to climb without a premade.

You have to play the mmr system. After you rank up, youre protected from getting demoted the next couple games. Unless you're a smurf playing below your skill level, you have to make sure you lose those as many games as you can without getting demoted. Otherwise your win streak makes the game think you totally just became a plat 5 player skill level and can hard carry low gold games no problem and you will be matched as such. You should also pay attention to how much lp youre getting. Say you lose 16 every lose and gain 20 every win and you end up at 96 lp, it's better to lose that game and win the next one to enter your promos.

That's actually terrible advice.

Your LP gains are based on your rank and your MMR. Lowering MMR relative to rank means it takes far longer to climb - to the point where you gain less on a win than you lose on a loss.

Not at all actually. I went from 24 lp wins to 22. I don't miss the 2 lp at all. I'd never earn 25+ four times in a row (Even after getting +25 the game before) and i never earn less 20. Meaning I went from it taking 5 wins in a row to reach promos to it taking 5 wins in a row without having teammates of a much lower rank on your team to reach promos.

But that's just my experience and it's gone a lot better than me than just going to a big win streak (because then I had long streaks of getting 1 or 2 teammates hard feeding)

Why do you care about your team? You are probably close to equally as incompetent as they are at the game, work on yourself and stop looking at everyone else. You are like the guy that goes to the gym and eyeballs everyone, complaining about how heavy the weights are and how no personnel are helping you out.
