Can Taliyah use her passive as a resource for a modified Q?

Honestly, her passive is kinda useless. No one actually makes the effort to use it. I just kinda exists.

Wouldn't it be cool if she use her passive as a modified Q? Meaning, while she is surfing, if she uses her Q, she would launch her surf board instead. It would not mark the earth as worked ground and would have a stun and longer range.

Would that be op? I'm sure it would be tons of fun though and would tie her to her theme just a little bit closer.
