I just had the most fun, engaging game against a Nidalee

So I started off by shoving the wave and trying to poke her down which was working well until he hit level 2 and was able heal everything back and grab every minion under turret by cougar form. This made for a really exciting gameplay pattern because it allows me to relish the fact that there was absolutely nothing I could do to gain an advantage against her.

Due to my misplay of trying to get ahead in lane by exploiting a weakness that obviously wasn't there, I was running low on mana but because nidalee was managing her mana extremely well by only spamming heals and using cougar form for csing she still had a relatively full mana bar.

Then I finally got hit by one Q and died after she subsequently all-inned me.

I'd like to take a moment and thank Riot for creating this uniquely satisfying gameplay experience in Nidalee, I'm sure everyone that plays this game will have a blast playing against her now and in the future.

Riot: We nerfed almost an entire class of champions because we felt they weren't fun to play against. item 3174 Players: Zed, Leblanc, and Nidalle are horrible to play against. Riot: Zed is the healthiest assassin. We think Leblanc is perfectly fine. Get over your Nidalee salt.

I'm not sure what you mean but I I do agree that yes, Zed Leblanc and NIdalee are horrible to play against.

No, not really.

Granted I play counters to those three by default - before I ever knew those were counters. :P

The first part is refering to the Mage and tank nerfs in patch 4.21 For Riot's last 3 lines: The first two are directly quoted from Patch notes, the last one is is only slightly paraphrased from patch notes

And her heal has a long CD, you're telling me you couldn't deal 45-60 dmg every 12 seconds?

Judging by this I think he was top. Hell me too if you top and want to damage nidalee she is just going to auto attack you like 3 or 2 times then use a spear. NEXT she will cougar form on you and spam her ability....chances are you are dead by then. Most ways to beat nidalee is if player sucks with her, dyrus even made a post saying she is OP and people who think she isn't never played a pro nid.

Yeah I am not really buying any of this. If Nidalee at level 2 was able to heal all the damage you dealt to her then you were not dealing anywhere near as much damage as you think you were dealing. Her heal is mediocre early, has a long cooldown and is just as expensive as the majority of poke abilities.

She also doesn't suddenly become a flawless farmer when she gets Swipe. Like it's a good farming tool but if Nidalee was getting flawless CS with Swipe then... anyone else you shoved under turret would be getting flawless CS too. And most people wouldn't be doing it in melee range, where they're easily hit by poke.

And I don't believe that taking one spear to the face killed you either. For one thing if she was saving all of her mana for her heals then she wasn't throwing out spears and if she hit you with one of the very few spears she threw out during the laning phase then that's kind of on you because you don't hit spears - your enemy fails to dodge them. But I just don't think one spear is 100-0 territory in laning phase, nowhere close. If she hit you at absolute max range and followed up with the rest of her abilities then there's a chance but if the spear hit at 1300+ range then there's no way she got in range to Pounce on you because the dash is only 750 range.

You are leaving out a lot of details here. If she actually did manage to kill you while CSing well under turret and healing off all of your poke then you quite simply weren't poking her well and you let a lot more than one spear hit you. You're not powerless against Nidalee. You just want to believe you are so you can call for nerfs.

Then you should have saved mana to punish her for farming in cougar form.
