Can't LS machines?
We can lifesteal from
and
, so the argument in favor of the lore approach to Heim's turrets was out long ago.
My point here is this:
In a fight with
, you may focus him, but even after his death--- erm, his
THEN death-- the turret still lives long enough to kill many champs before they get out of range. So what do you do? Focus the turrets, right? Wrong. You die or make a sad attempt at leaving if he can land his ground-targeted grenade. (Why that's not a skillshot but Quin's Q, which is literally its own living thing, is I won't ever understand their explanation for)
If you do target the turrets, which each deal a lot of damage and have attack speed as high as a dead Sion, then you're greeted with the nice little factor that you can't* lifesteal* them. Makes perfect sense, right? Three turrets with overlapping range that can all fire at you, one being much bigger with much more health and damage, and if you're not LeBlanc or Zed, you're not escaping. *And you can't heal off of them. *
They may not** BE **pets, but that sure as hell doesn't justify not being able to lifesteal off of them.
Aside from the obvious points that they can decimate towers and the dragon (since you know, that's what mages are supposed to do, right?), the biggest issue is that right there.
Another point; Why is it that even when you see:
AN ENEMY HAS BEEN SLAIN
You may still see:
**ENEMY DOUBLE KILL **
in the moments after?
I'm no expert on the afterlife, but I'm pretty sure hell is much further than the range
needs to be in for the turrets to stay active. So why don't they turn off the moment he dies?
With a normal build, you buy
anyway, so it's not like they don't get to attack. You're frikkin' invulnerable after you place them, then just have tanks stand on top of you.
I get that he's a mage, but the other mages can't solo dragon when it spawns or take a tower while the enemy's away. Since I'm not saying anything to take away those two outrageous abilities, what I've got here should be enough of a change. (the first isn't REALLY a nerf, it's simply fair to the rest of the players)
TL;DR We should be able to lifesteal Heim's turrets; Hell is pretty far away, they should deactivate when he dies.
