My opinion on EVERY top laner (Part one)

Kha'zixKhazix C-rank Low experience Kha has a few things going for him compared to other assassins. HIs passive gives him some mixed dmg, his w some sustain, and his low cd q can give him some sustained dmg in case his burst isn't enough. But, he is still an assassin. Top lane is just not the place for assassins. Top laners are just too tanky, have too much cc as well as most top laners being very strong duelists. You can make him work, but I only recomend him versus adc top laners, like Graves Graves and Vayne Vayne.

Kled Kled A-rank Low experience I'm honestly suprised I dont see more of this guy. HIs laning is very strong, as his dmg is very, very high, his all in potential is very high and his passive can even give him some sustain, or complete turn around fights. In the mid to late game, his ultimate is an amazing playmaking tool, and he is a very good backline diver, along the lines of Riven Riven or Irelia Irelia. The thing holding him back is his lack of cc, and his need to always go ham, making him pretty much useless if behind.

Lee'sin LeeSin C-rank (barely) Medium experience I mean, Lee'sin can certaintly work in the top lane. But just... why. His strenght comes from his mobility and early damage. In top lane, mobility is not nearly as useful as skillshots are not that prevelent, and plenty of top laners can match, and surpass his damage in the early game. The one thing Lee has going for him is that his insec kick combo is insanly good, and can completly turn around a game. Assuming that you can pull it off. Not recommended if you're not good at him, and even if you are there are better options.

LissandraLissandra B-rank Low experience Lissandra is very matchup dependant. Certain matchups with heavy stick potential will destroy her, but other matchups will get poked down, and if they ever come close she will just disengage before they can do anything. Late game Lissandra is somewhat simliar to VladimirVladimir, where you go hard as fuck and try to burst down the backline. The main diffrence is just that Lissandra has lower sustain, lower sustained dmg, but also more burst and has an easier time getting into the figths

LuluLulu C-rank Low experience Lulu is only relevent in protect the carry comps as a top laner. Unless u are building her full dmg, the only thing u will provide is shields and peel. Early game your poke is deceptivly low. Lulu has big mana problems that prevent her from using her abilities to poke, and her basic attacks do litle without her passive hitting your target.

MalphiteMalphite A-rank High experience Malphite its one of the several "god" tanks. Compared to other tanks he has two advantages. Most reliable and powerful in the entire game, IMO, as well as being able to scale with armor. His laning phase is not very strong due to mana problems and no hp sustain make you tire out before you can actually kill anyone. Except for Quinn, he has the best roaming potential of all top laners with his ulti. However, outside of his ultimate his kit is fairly lackluster.

MalzaharMalzahar B-rank Medium experience Malzahar top is a cheesy pick that I quite enjoy, and that can actually work very well. You push hard and zone the enemy laner. Most top laners have low wave clear and can't handle your pushing or zoning. After level 6, almost no top laner can actually 1 v 1 you since your voidlings will have an easy time hitting them (most top laners are melee, you know) and your ultimate is devestating with a large amount of voidlings. Moreover, you can completly shutdown several top laners late game, including Tryndamere Tryndamere, JaxJax, KennenKennen and basicly anyone else who likes to dive the backline, as well as being able to get catches on enemy carries. However, you are weak to ganks and some top laners can simply wait out laning phase and scale just as well, or better than Malzahar

MordekaiserMordekaiser B-rank Medium experience Gankable and matchup dependent. Someone like Darius will completly destroy Mordekaiser, but other champions will have trouble dealing with him. Late game, you will probobly have trouble doing anything as you are immobile. About it

NasusNasus B-rank High experience Nasus draws alot of pressure top, is a ticking time bomb but also weak AF early. Nasus can be snowballed on, but he is that looming threat, that if you dont finish fast enough he will get his stacks, and one shot everyone. His teamfighting is not the strongest so splitpushing is your best option. Not recomended if you dont know how to play safe and how to play from behind.

NautiliusNautilus A-rank High experience Nautalius has probobly the most cc of any champion in the entire game. He gets insanly tanky while still being threatning with cc and decent dmg. The downside is that sustain and kiting is very effective against him, and most of all, HE IS SOOOOOOO SLOW. His q is fairly slow moing, his ultimate takes a second to reach its target, he moves slowly and even attacks slowly.

OlafOlaf B-rank Medium experience Olaf is a win lane, lose game champion. His all in is strong and he snowballs hard, but outside of that he doesn't have much going for him. If you like hard winning lane and winning 5 v 1, then I guess u could play him.

PantheonPantheon A-rank High experience THe best win lane, lose game champion, IMO. Strong all in, strong poke, strong roam, insane snowball. Against the right comps and matchups he can run wild and completly stomp games, but against other comps, mainly cc and frontline heavy comps, he will have a harder time. Also, he is easily gankable and pretty useless if behind

PoppyPoppy A-rank Medium experience Poppy fills a nichie no other top laner - or any other champion for that matter - can offer. Firstly, her w can shut down champions in a way noone else really can and her ultimate also has a wide array of uses. Other than that her dmg is best of most of the other tanks and she is a very good peeler but not a very good engager, relying on flash or flank plays to make an engage.

QuinnQuinn B-rank Low experience Do not play Quinn if you are not a seasoned Quinn player. She is very difficult, easily gankable and if you die once, the lane is lost and you will have a hard time recovering. With that disclaimer out of the way, lets move on to the positives. Roaming, poke, all in, assassination. Quinn is the best option for a pure assassin there is in the top lane, IMO. Her laning phase is safer and better than other assassins that can go top, she can roam to easily snowball other lanes just like otehr assassins, splitpush and her assassination is decent all game. However, plenty of top laners do outscale her and/or can deal with her early game.

RenektonRenekton Another win lane, lose game champion, plenty of those in the top lane. Renektons sustain, high dmg and trading power make him a strong laner, and he can easily snowball to the point that he can 1 v 2. However, as he builds almost only tank items, his dmg falls off and his ulitity is near non-existant outside of a melee range stun, making him fall off late game.

RengarRengar Not sure how the rework has changed Rengar in the top lane, haven't seen him much since his rework. His bush cheese where he goes in a bush, jumps on you with q and then walks away before you can do anything doesn't work anymore since it is a cast ability, but his new roar seems very strong as it will heal dependin on how much dmg he has taken, as well as cleansing cc being strong against many top laners. His roaming is still strong and he snowballs hard, but struggles in terms of scaling or if he is behind.

RivenRiven B-rank Medium experience I will prob get alot of ppl not agreeing with me, but Riven is a win lane, lose game champion. Her late game is pretty sucky and the only way she will be able to contribute is by extreme snowball, or a well executed flank. Still, she does snowball insanly well. I personoly hate dealing with her, she is just so annoying even though I never have any real problem dealing with her. She has big cd gaps that you can exploit as well as no Hp sustain.

RumbleRumble A-rank Medium experience Rumble deals alot of dmg. Early game, mid game, late game, burst, sustained and even a litle bit of poke. If you need damage, Rumble will do the job. HIs ultimate can win entire teamfigths thought both dmg, control and engage and he snowballs like crazy. However, you can find it hard to get off your damage, outside of your ultimate at least, since you are a squishy melee. You can only really provide your ulimate and then later clean up the figth since you risk getting cc'd and bursted if you get to close to the fray. In lane, Rumble wins in a blaze of glory or burns down in cinders, there isn't much inbetween.

ShacoShaco Cheese-rank Low experience Only recomended for cheesy fun. He is hard to do anything with, but damn is he hilarius when you manage to get something off, like stacking a ton of boxes and luring someone in, or outplaying someone with your clone.

ShenShen A-rank High experience A tank with splitpush potential, how crazy is that? Shen's teamfighting is lacking compared to other tanks. His laning is decent, but nothing special. What makes Shen so good is his ultimate. It is an insanely strong ability, able to turn around dives, ganks and fights from accross the map. Late game he is all about pressure. Splitpush, draw ppl to you, then ulti in for a 4v5 fight.

SingedSinged Cheese-rank Low experience We have all faced Singed, we all know how he works. He takes trolling and makes it into a viable strategy throught proxing. I can't explain what proxying is here, it would take too fucking long. Just, don't play him if you do not have a deep understanding of game flow and map pressure.

SionSion B-rank Medium experience He has alot of counterplay, which holds him back. Mana problems, no hp sustain, unreliable cc and dmg. Its hard to recomend him, but he is decent.

SwainSwain A-rank High experience The definition of metling ppl down. As Swain you never burst anybody, you burn them. The question is just if you do it in 15 seconds, or in 2 seconds. Alot of top laners can just not deal with him, as you not only need high dmg, but high burst to take on swain. Eitehr that, or wait out his mana/bait his ulti and jump on him when its down. Late game team figths he is just a pain to deal with, that requires hard focus to bring down. Cuz if you dont burst him immidietly, he will heal up and tear your ass apart with his high dmg.

Tahm kenchTahmKench A-rank Medium experience One of the best bodygaurds in the game, he scales very well as a frontliner. In lane, he is an annoyin ball of fat that noone likes to play against. He licks you, he eats you, all while never dying and doing unacceptable amounts of dmg. However, he lacks engage and hard disengage, as he is more about stalling and kiting, rather than completly stopping figths, and poke lanes that can dodge his q will have no problem with him.

trundleTrundle B-rank Medium experience Trundle is a pretty solid champion. Good lane, good splitpush, decent teamfight. He excels in tank metas as he counters them, as well as splitpush metas. Poke and kite counters him and other strong duelists can neutralize him. Not much else to say

TryndamereTryndamere C-rank Medium experience I mean, trynda can work. But, why would u? His lane is reliant on luck. If he gets a few lucky crits the first few levels, he can dominate the lane. If he does not, he will prob lose lane. Late game, he sucks at everything but splitpushing. He can cheese you hard with his undyingness, but there are ways to play around it, like forcing fights against his team 4 v 5, cc and kiting. In teamfights the only teams he can work against are those with literly no peel whatsoever.

Urgot Urgot C-rank Medium experience Urgot is a weird pick. I guess he could be compared to JayceJayce in lane, but with a diffrent late game role. You are more of a kite back bruiser that can offer some peel rather than a high dm assassin and poke champion. He honestly fills that role pretty good, what holds him back tho is being easily gankable, weird build paths, and his stigma of being trash.

VayneVayne C-rank Low experience Vayne is like QuinnQuinn in the top lane, only she doesn't roam, instead just shreds every1 in the top lane. Same as with Quinn, do not play Vayne top unless you are very good at her. You do not have a support to protect you from ganks, and if you die once your lane is pretty fucked.

VladimirVladimir A-rank My personal favorite champion and my main Vladimir is one of the best top laners for pure, raw late game damage. Your damage is massive, AOE, burst and sustained. All while you are pretty tanky and heal for insane amounts. But that's all you provide, no dmg, no peel, no engage, no disengage, just raw dmg. Moreover, his early game, while safe, is exploitable and champions and players can work around him to shut him down. While he is one of the worst champions in the game at being a teamplayer, he can hard carry games like almost no other top laner can once you get 4+ items. In the late game, range and cc shut him down, as well as disengage.

VolibearVolibear C-rank Medium experience If you can pull of a situation where you can just stand there and face tank your opponent without them moving, then you'll prob win most fights as Volibear. In any other situation, he will be lackluster. Bad engage, bad disengage, meh peel. Plenty of champions can crush him early as long as they can play around his passive and bite.

WukongMonkeyKing A-rank Medium experience Wukong deals a shit ton of dmg, and he offers good cc with his ultimate knock up. And as for his negatives, high sustain or poke lanes can shut him down, but other champions will have trouble dealing with him. That's about it

YasuoYasuo A-rank Medium experience THis piece of shit is pure cancer, if you play this, i hope you burn in hell. His dashes are so annoying to deal with, his all in is strong, his Q can offers some poke, disengage, engage and waveclear all in one, and with warlords its disgusting. What counters Yasuo is early game tanks and bruisers. Ppl like Irelia, Maokai Maokai and Riven Riven can deal with him easily, but other skill shot dependent champions, or champions with exploitable big cooldown gaps or weak early games can be abused by Yasuo.

YorickYorick A-rank Medium experience Yorick is the new best splitpusher, imo. His 1 v 1 is insane with his Maiden of the mist, he pushes hard as fuck and even has reliable disengage in his W. Except for maybe a good late game Vayne and other champions that can just kite him down, few can actually 1 v 1 him late game. However, I should clarify that Yorick himself is fucking awful. The thing that makes him so strong is his ghouls and maiden of the mist, their dmg is high, they get deceptivly tanky so you can often not even AOE them down, they're like an even stronger version of Malzahar pets. But, poke champions and high waveclear champions can at least deal with him, and his team figthing is not nearly as strong as his splitpush as in chaotic teamfights it can be much harder to make ppl stand still to let your pets hit them.

ZacZac A-rank Low experience A very good tank, he has a few upsides over other tanks. Like manaless poke in form of his q, as well as hp sustain. Your damage is not the highest in actuall fight, so alot of top laners will dominate you, and you are vurnable to poke. HIs teamfigthing is all or nothing. Your e is a strong engage but heavily telegraphed, and it can be hard to get on top of anybody to use your other abilities. But if you can, you can disrupt entire teams hard with all your cc while still having okay dmg and never dying.

Thanks for readig, hope I helped.
