New Aatrox has a worse design that old Aatrox

Honestly, the only problem is his q and e, because they're just unfun, unfair and interactive.

This isn't an argument for Aatrox being weak or strong, and idc if he is.

The problem with his q and e is that, assuming he has both up, they're impossible to dodge. You walk to the right to dodge his q, he dashes to the right. You walk away do dodge his second q, he dashes after you. You walk towards him, he dashes away, or whatever. Unless you have a very, very quick dash yourself, there is nothing u can do to dodge it since Aatrox's dash is instant, which is just stupid. Winning lane should not be decided by the champions. If I'm Darius, I should not be doomed to lose just cuz he picked Aatrox, and I Have no way of dodging his q's, no matter how well i predict them and try to walk aside.

It's not fun to not being able to walk up to even touch the cs cuz he'll just q me. It's not fun having to run around like a headless chicken for the enitre laning phase, trying to desperately dodge his q's, which u, as previously said, u can't even dodge.

I honestly have no idea what Riot was thinking when they made this rework, it is genuinly awful. It didn't please the old Aatrox fans by making him better, and no1 new is interesting in him cuz his kit, by its nature, is broken in laning phase and useless after 15 minutes. The only way he's going to be useful late game is if they pump his numbers up to a ridicules degree to the point that 1 q half healths an adc, and the only way they'll make his laning phase more fair is if they destroyed his dmg to the point where he can't kill any1.

Tl;Dr; Aatrox's design is uninteractive to play against, since you can't dodge his q's without a dash of your own. Moreover, his kit is broken. Number changes won't fix him, he will always be too op early game, too weak late game.

I don't think that uninteractive means what you think it means also seems to be more of a "I don't know how to deal with this champion" type of issue more than anything else

Yeah i've been playing for 3-4 years and i've seen Aatrox about 5 times before his rework, his old design was really interesting and fun

I'm torn on this argument.

One the one hand you make a decent point that some champs are going to have a very hard time dodging. On the other hand, it's equally hard to dodge a lot of things. That by itself isn't a strong indictment of his champ design. There are plenty of champs where the proper counterplay is "don't be in range of xyz," and yeah, it feels shitty, but that's just how it is. Pretty hard to dodge Swain E or Taric E if they are close enough to land it, too. Can't dodge Alistar W-Q knock up without a dash, either.

The point about people not liking him is just wrong. I, personally, have started playing Aatrox since the rework because I think the kit is sick. It didn't make the mains happy, sure, but when are all the mains going to be happy about a release? Some people are always going to be upset when a champ gets reworked, so it's never going to be a reason not to rework a champ.

Best argument that you've got here is that he's too strong early and too weak late. That might be true, and might need more than just numbers changes. Best defense would be that it's not easy to figure out how true that is before release. You aren't wrong about the facts, but it's not helpful to blame Riot for that problem, in particular.
