As a Camille main nearing 400 Camille games, her ultimate needs some work. Here's my suggestions.

The Hextech Ultimatum

  • No Longer passively grants Camille magic damage when active (This was seriously just useless hidden power. I never said "Oh wow I won that trade because of that extra 5 magic damage on my basic attacks!")
  • Now lasts 2 seconds at all ranks +0.5 seconds each time Camille damages the trapped target (This forces her to 1v1 the target instead of being an entrapment bot in late game)
  • Camille can also not leave the area by any means (Camille is forced to stay and fight her target, thus leaving room for bad decisions)
  • Camille may reactivate R after the initial 2 seconds to break it.
  • Camille takes reduced damage from anyone who is not the trapped individual (This is important -- as a diver, she needs tools to survive in late game teamfights. Fiora has healing and parry, Rengar has healing and CC cleanse, Xin is gonna be immune to damage, etc)

Well the +.5 seconds upon damaging the person on her ult is a bit ridiculous. People would just build her attack speed and nevevr let it run out. Also she wouldn't even need to build tanky anymore because of the reduced damage. As a Camille main (not as much anymore) I can see where you're going with this change, but it might be a bit much.

The only thing I dont really agree with is the "Camille can also not leave the area by any means (Camille is forced to stay and fight her target, thus leaving room for bad decisions)" Camille has to be able to be removed from her ultimate so that you can cancel it. This would remove the ability to knock her out of it and thus cancel it. If you want to make it so she cant remove herself that would be fair. But I think that actually removes skill expression and simply makes her ult more corner case and less of a ultimate. I dont agree with skills that are detrimental to oneself when using them. This would simply make her more powerful in coordiated play and less powerful in solo que.

You want to repeat Poppy ultimate? You want camille to be left on the gutter until she gets reworked? Because that was the reason why poppy was left so weak fro so much time. Her ult was unhealthy as she could only be damaged by the targetted champion. So she coudl ult the hyper carry and solo it or....she could ult the support (Which realistically had no damage to kill a bruiser) and proceed to kill all the carries while they were unable to do anything

Someone already said, but I'll say it again. It's probably an issue if Camille can't leave the area, since that's one of the main counterplay to her ultimate (get her out of the zone, so the person who's ulted can leave). There are other ways of counterplay that your proposed change introduces though, so I'm not entirely sure if this is a bad change in terms of counterplay.

I like the idea of Camille's bonus Ultimatum duration reducing per hit so you have to hit them, but can't keep it going forever. For example (numbers need heavy tuning, but are demonstrative) first hit gives +.5, second gives +.4 all the way to .1. That way she's always getting more time, but you'll never be permanently trapped. Otherwise, if she's stronger, she'll be gaurenteed kills by ulting. If she ults a full tank Mundo and he ults, she could just keep him in there for the 2 weeks it takes to kill him.

Divers don't need individual abilities that let them ignore damage or CC, that's kind of a skirmisher thing (GP, Fiora, Yi, Tryndamere, Riven is in there somewhere).

What divers need is their own set of items, separate from juggernaut and tank items.

I disagree with half of this. One of the biggest ones I disagree with is "camille shouldn't be allowed to leave her ult"

Sorry but the increased duration on that is ridiculous. Her ultimate is plenty strong as it is. If any buffs were made to it, there would need to be one major nerf: The box should break instantly on her death. As a dueling ultimate it makes zero sense to keep the victim trapped in the wall when Camille gets outplayed or loses the duel.

This would have some pretty strong synergy with summoner 14

As a Camille main myself I got to say I do like your idea. The only thing I would change is that the ultimate has a maximum duration of let's just say 4/5 maybe even 6 seconds. Not being able to leave as Camille is a bit scary but I do like the risk/reward component that is offered by this change.

dont these kind of cancel each other out? it also removes the counterplay of knocking her out of the ring

You're gold 2, riot doesnt base their changes off low elo players, you have 400 games, experienced? Yes! Gold 2? Yes! Qualified to make changes? NO! Point being, if you're 400 games, and somehow not at least diamond, you shouldn't even be talking. Like many people agree, if you are not at least top 1% you shouldn't even be talking about balance.

What is the problem you have with her right now? She is the most balanced she has been and is still strong. Any buffs will break her and nerfs really are not needed yet. It seems more like you want her to never be used as a support with those changes since they dont affect top lane camille much.

Dude camille imo is kinda broken. I've seen many camilles spoon feed their top rivals but once we get into late games their kits carry the entire game

i think with the "camille cant leave" part, she should be allowed to leave if another enemy champion steps in
