PSA: Asking you to build an item isn't infringing your rights.
Stop acting like you're getting oppressed and saying "STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO OR I AFK" because I asked you nicely to build an Executioners Calling vs a Mundo Soraka Xin Zhao.

Asking someone to build something is like... The most polite way to tell someone , Hey! I think you're overlooking something in your build. You forgot about X mechanic, You have the ability to counter this mechanic, Can you??? It'll help the team immensely.
-puts sarcasm hat on- But nope. It's 2016. If anyone says anything that opposes your own thoughts, Obviously they're threatening your well being. We must take up arms against intelligent conversations!! How dare people speak to someone in an intelligent manner, How dare they!!! -Takes sarcasm hat off-
In all seriousness, i hate people who respond that way when someone is giving them legitimate advice. It really grinds my gears.
Stop the microaggressions bro.
You got a fuckin problem bro?
You PC brah?
TRIGGERED
Your comment just made my day. I got cursed at by my adc just the other day for telling her to buy armor pen against an enemy team consisting of 3 tanks, which of course she refused to buy. Being a support sucks at times. [slayer-jinx-unamused]
Wow all these nice people helping each other with there builds. Problem is I can't remember anyone doing this in a polite way, ever. All I see are arrogant people (most likely the worst one in your team) giving advice and blame your item builds for there mistakes.
For real, nobody cares about your item build if your team is going to win, but if the enemy team is ahead people start searching for stupid reasons.
i personally believe the people telling people to build certain items in a rude way, Actually do care.
I believe they're just so tilted, de-moralized and are looking for a scapegoat. And guess what!!! Someone having the wrong item is just that...Their scapegoat. It's a way for them to convince themselves that "i am not to blame for this"...its my team building the wrong items. Remember most people believe they are way better than they actually are and as such hold themselves to a higher standard than the players in their games so its obviously their fault, Right?
They have this wall up and everytime they lose a match the wall suffers damage, Eventurally when the wall breaks they realise they're complete garbage and actually start learning the game the correct way. Kind of like in the military they often break people and then build them up stronger than ever, It works.
But this wall has a defense system in place, whenever this wall is in danger of being damages it scans the area around the player looking for scapegoats to take the damage instead and like i said before, Someone on their team serves this purpose. And so their wall stays alive a little longer. The walls mission? To keep the player from becoming the best that they can be.
The player fails to see that this wall is actually preventing them from improving. Its quiet unfortunate really.
When your behind is when your build really matters. If your fed you usually get more dmg to further oppress your enemy. If your behind you should be building to help your team with what it needs. Such as slowing the attckspeed of that vayne or getting a locket becuse thier ahri is 1v3ing you. Or buying a sighstone becuse thier is no vision on the map and you aren't doing anything meaningful with your current build/amount of deaths.
If we're losing, it very well may be because people on our team (maybe its me who knows?) are itemizing correctly.
If I'm supporting an ADC who has a literal one-item counter to the fed mundo, swain, etc. on the other team, and he won't buy it, then I'll attribute our loss, in part, to exactly that. That doesn't make it a "stupid reason".
*Assuming you really did ask politely and didn't say "Its 25 mins and no Executioners Calling on this adc, he doesn't know how to build"
I think it's because everyone is so used to expecting flame from each other that they automatically assume you're being hostile, even when you're trying to be friendly.
i personally type in champion selection "Wow, Their team comp!!! We're totally gonna need some grievous wounds lol"
After that it's beyond my ability to get them to build it. lol
People who say stuff like "he is healing so much" and then respond with "no executioners calling sucks WTF" annoy me to death .
So yeah keep that in mind. I played a lot of crit Darius until recently and It was amazing. And every game my team would tell me I'm building him wrong, usually after THEY died and were tabbing, desperately looking for someone to blame.
I don't tell people what to build because I know how annoying it is, and because league is such a toxic game anything I say will seem as malicious as possible.
I'm adc the support is supposed to peel for me.

I've had to purchase Executioner's Calling against Swain and Mundo as a jungle Rammus (when my team had 3 AD champions).
It was rather sad.
I'd even asked someone to purchase it (and explained why) several times from the start of the game.
Have had to do this as Janna. Not like supports get full build anyway and it's pretty cheap, but pretty ridiculous. You gotta do what you gotta do.
Solution: Play
Well it depends what AD champs you had.
needs all the tank items he can get,
gets almost no benefit from Bonus armor pen, and the ADC
, well, we all know how the ADC, being the most important role, is always right and their build is perfect and should never be questioned.
FUCK YOU DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO BUILD!
How did you even buy a gp upgrade?
BECAUSE I'M CHALLENJOR NOOB KID SIT THE FUCK DOWN FOOKIN FAYGET LET ME CARRY YOUR BITCH ASS!
is legendary.
/all GG TEAM TO HEAVY FUCKIN FEEDERS NA TRASH NA TRASH NA TRASH!
Lmao if Vayne doesn't even get
then she deserves to be stomped by that Zed.
Those low elo Vayne "mains".
peoples who suggest or asking for another player to do a specific build are very toxic and should be perma banned.
I was about to reply about how that's wrong then I realized your joking.
I've been on the other side of this though.
I like to play Sion mid and sometimes mix up the build. Started going for a Duskblade as my only dmg item before going all tank cause I was doing ok in lane and not much was happening around the map ... just as I finish my item my team starts shitting the bed and I died in a TF. Que 2 dcks screaming at me to "BUILD TANK!!!".
Uhhh ... the hell you think Imma get the cash for that right now? Want me to sell my completed dmg item for some tanky parts ooooor should you all stop forcing fights long enuff for us to farm up? It's ok to point out flaws in someone's build, but you shouldn't be rude and you gotta understand that people can't swap out items at the drop of a dime for most of the game.
Eh, unless you're being overly nagging about it, it's not that offensive to remind someone of an item's existence. People sometimes forget that niche counter items exist, you know.
I don't target the player directly, and that's the best way to effectively tell them what to do because they "come to it on their own." Just say things like "Hey guys, our top lane is a bulky tank, so build some tank busters," or "Hey, our bot lane is heavy sustain. Grievous Wounds will utterly destroy that Soraka."
PSA: Not building that item isn't "having a negative attitude" or "intentional feeding."
People don't get upset if you ask nicely. People get unhappy when you ask them like a jerk.
Like for example, when I play support, if someone says
"Hey Nami could you get sightstone on your next back?"
I'll be like yea sure, they are asking nicely, I'll do it I dont mind even if I won't have much gold for anything else.
Something like "Nami omg just fucking build sightstone already" is what I don't like. When people tell you what to do in game, as opposed to asking nicely. Nobody gets upset if you ask them politely, literally nobody. People get upset when you act like an ass and impolitely tell them what to do.
It's the same in v an AP heavy team and someone continues with the coolie cutter build on their champ after you have said, "If you would like to stop taking so much damage, you could build a
and a
. I found those two items work really well." Only to get either ignored or told to "f" off.
Suggestions versus actually taking the advice. We can tell you all you want on what to build, but you don't have to listen to us.
Though being assholes about it is another thing.
as long as you're asking, not demanding, that's fine. it's also fine for them to ignore your request.
IF I ask you to build Mortal Reminder to deal with the enemy Volibear and Mundo who are out healing our damage or something like locket for a little extra MR on the team that is usually with reason.
No one wants to counterbuild. They just want to copy their favorite Mobafire "build" and then bitch when they lose the game while demanding for nerfs against the enemy.
I have yet to see a
build Void Staff
Stop picking Taliyah in my ranked games if you're not gonna do damage when the game inevitably stalls (low elo)

Or just don't play Taliyah, she is kinda crap I have seen. I have never seen her do anything good. At best she is an annoyance with her wall, at worst she is basically a free kill since she doesn't hurt, and 9 times outta 10, her knockback move is garbage because A. push the enemy to safety, or B. pull them to her and they just jump on her.
If someone wants to play a control mage, just play Anivia, she does Taliyah's job vastly better and actually is a threat. Survives better too.
full ap malphites are the worst, because they are so sure that they will carry with their build when we have no tank
As long as they went mid to make clear they don't plan on being the tank, AP Malph is fine by me. What pisses me off is when they go top and think because they got a few early kills they should start building full AP.
I asked my support to build a sightstone and she told me I was trying to "enforce meta"
supports that don't buy sighstone [zombie-nunu-bummed]
Depends on what elo. I no longer build sightstone and have over a 70% win rate. Half the time low elo players don't know what to do with the information vision gives them.
if the pros do it, everyone should do it
Me : Naut
wont do any good their team all ap. Sell it and get mr
Him : STFU noob

I've seen a Galio build
When the enemies were all ad.
Galio at least makes some sense though, since he gets AP from that, and abbysal and banshee are still useful vs AD.
######nitpicking intensifies
Yea those item aren't necessarily bad on him but all i really wanted was for him to get a thorn mail and maybe a sunfire.
want it built?? build it yourself quit crying
[{quoted}](name=Bahamut Zero,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=AsbEXBk3,comment-id=0021,timestamp=2016-06-24T02:48:31.046+0000)

It would totally be efficient to build
or
on
What if you're AP malphite?
