Renekton should gain the same fury and heal from Monsters that he does from Champions

because I honestly think he could be a pretty good jungler

He has sustain, gap closer, Stun, manaless, AoE damage, scales well with Warrior etc.,

Pls Riot

This wouldn't impact his top lane AT ALL, because the only camps near his lane are Krugs and Gromp, and they deal way too much damage for him to even consider trying to take them early without smite and all that.

Large monster, not small ones. If he got the same from all monsters, he would be gaining a LOT of health from one Q.

Eh, I don't agree. The amount he heals with a normal Q isn't very much anymore on the PBE.

9/13.5/18/22.5/27(+12% Bonus AD) per Monster (if we treated them like Champions) is barely anything honestly. The heal is also capped at 50 at rank 1 of Q.

That means at the Chicken camp you basically reach the Cap just with 1 Q because it would be 36+48% Bonus AD.

When he has Empowered Q and he decides to use it on a camp, he won't generate any Fury from it and he won't have any Fury for his E or Ws for a gank. Seems like a pretty good trade off to me.

Numbers on his heal havent changed at all. It is just flat instead of percentage. Still capped at 50 at rank 1 on live right now.

He heals for less from his normal Q and the same as on live with empowered Q. Heal cap is still the same.

Youre wrong.

S@20:

Renekton swings his blade, dealing 60/90/120/150/180 (+.8 bonus AD) physical damage to nearby enemies and healing himself for 3/4.5/6/7.5/9 (+.04 bonus AD) health for each non-champion hit and 9/13.5/18/23/27 (+.12 bonus AD) health for each champion hit, up to **50/75/100/125/150 Health **

In addition, he generates 2.5 fury for each non-champion hit and 10 fury for each champion hit, up to a maximum of 30 fury.

50 Fury Bonus: Damage increased to 90/135/180/225/x (+1.2 bonus AD). Heal increased to 9/13.5/18/22.5/27 (+.12 bonus AD) per non-champion and 27/40.5/54/67.5/81 (+.36 bonus AD) per champion, up to 150/225/300/375/450. No longer generates Fury.

Live:

Active: Renekton deals physical damage to all enemies within range, gaining 5 Fury for each target hit and healing for some of the damage dealt, up to a cap. Renekton heals for 20% of the damage dealt to champions and 5% of the damage dealt to minions and monsters.

Physical damage: 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 / 180 (+ 80% bonus AD)

** Healing cap: 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150**

Fury Bonus: Cull the Meek deals 50% additional damage. The heal is doubled to 40% against champions and 10% against minions and monsters, and the healing cap is tripled.

Empowered damage: 90 / 135 / 180 / 225 / 270 (+ 120% bonus AD)
Empowered healing cap: 150 / 225 / 300 / 375 / 450

Bolded the healing done by normal Q.

And if you look, empowered is exactly the same as well.

15/30% pre mitigation healing instead of 20/40% post mitigation healing

So against monsters who have really low armor it's a nerf to your healing effectively

If Nasus can jungle why not Renekton ?

I am afraid that this would make Renekton really good at taking the golems as a top laner, more than making him a jungler. This isn't much of a problem for the first levels, but at level 9 Renekton would be taking stuff often.

Laners poaching jungle camps continues to be a significant problem for gold flow design.

Most if not all tops can take Golems around 9

I agree. The point is that Riot sees this (correctly) as a problem for jungler feel, and they're not going to do things to make it more comfortable for the laner to take the camps.

Riot did a good job making it difficult for mids to farm the chickens, but top laners taking golems is still a thing.

The only way to stop it is to basically flip the golems to face red and even then the jungler almost never clears golems.

As a Renekton main, I have jungled with him quite a few times. I can say that in the old and the new jungle, he's just sort of 'meh'. His ganks are okay because of his dash and stun, but there's nothing there to recommend him over the dedicated junglers.

Basically his laning is his biggest strength, he has more favorable matchups than bad ones, and he farms like a boss. Putting him in the jungle is a waste of his potential.

Most of his issues in jungle is his lack of sustain honestly

Also if the monsters were treated as champs for fury generation he could get into ganks much faster and potentially clear a lot faster too
