Wow, kayle is so strong with the new runes
I think she'll be getting back in the meta

any champion that has such a base level of play with the skill ceiling of a jellyfish should never be viable at top level and should be promptly nerfed until adding some depth into the champion. This does include kayle, who is entirely point and click, with an invulnerability and who does her entire damage with autos. At least with other low skill champions, which includes most adcs, you can kill them immediately which ups their skill level since they have to position better, not with kayle. A quick fix would be to double her ranged attack CD to add times where she is more vulnerable and unable to auto from range.
And you don´t have to position better as Kayle?
I mean, it´s not like one mistimed ult can absolutely cause a winning fight to become a losing one either.
Do your homework and actually look up how Challenger Kayle mains play before shitting with your fingers, okay, buddy?

Oh yes, so much more skill than what is needed by most other champions at that level of play eyeroll. One mistimed ult that is point and click. Meanwhile one mistimed skill shot that can MISS by the majority of champions. Anyone who has a bad ult at that level can cost game, bad annie ult, bad brand ult, bad sej ult etc. That is basically the only thing kayle has the ability to mess up on and it's a point and click on ally. Most everything else is base game mechanics that most champions utilize. A large amount of champions take more skill to utilize their ult properly than kayle has in her entire kit.
But some very low skill champions are needed in league. They help newer players learn base mechanics of the game without worrying about how to play the more in depth champions properly while doing so. But such a low skill champion should never be top tier.
Except she's far from top tier.
Currently the only things keeping her in minimal viability are the fact Nashor's and Guinsoo's are in relatively good spots and Lethal Tempo exists.
Besides, champions like her, which are far from low skill, teach players that learning the game is better than learning the champion. Kayle is medium level, at best.
There´s a reason why LS puts Annie on a high spot in his tier lists. It´s not a meme.
Kayle should never be strong otherwise the game becomes even less fun.
Whaddya suggest for a build?
Depends. Kayle can pretty much (ab)use any item in the game.
Generally you would want Guinsoo's, Nashor's, and Runaan's as your core items. The rest can be things like Wit's End (as an MR option and to shred MR on top of her passive), Blade of the Ruined King (extra %HP damage, sustain and mixed damage), Rylai's (for the permaslow/endless kiting), Lich Bane (if you want more upfront burst through Spellblade), etc. You generally want to build her like you would Kog'Maw.
As for runes, Lethal Tempo, and Legend: Alacrity. When that thing procs on top of having Guinsoo's and a fully stacked Alacrity and some AS items, you shred through near enough any champion in the game if you can get enough hits off.
I like to go for Precision/Sorcery and take the Ultimate Hat (to make your ult's BS cooldown even more BS) and Transcendence (so you can hit 30% CDR with one item). If you don't take Transcendence, you will need to hit at least 30% CDR with your items so your E isn't down for too long. If you can hit 40% CDR, your E will always be up.

Actually a big part of why she's strong is the stat changes. If you note, 0 champions got MR, that's also part of why Kog'Maw and Corki are both very strong, because of their hybrid damage. Runes did help, but people underestimate the stat changes too.
