I like him but:

I play him, so he isn't new to me
I loathe barrels. I just hate using them period. For everything.
SoloQ doesn't act on his ult 90% of the time.

None of the above are my personal recommendations for climbing bronze but I feel that morde would be your best bet then. Folks who don't know his kit are confused by his Q damage and the shield sustain his passive provides. Ryze ulti requires competent teammates and its a really high skillcap to learn his combos properly. Yoricks aight but I feel morde will be usefully in more circumstances so hes a better option.

i for one recommend morde cause he hit's hilariously hard or you could grab a friend and do a off meta bot lane Katarina + Taric
Olaf + Nami (this one specifically. cause then you have a 700 MS olaf running at you) Azir + Braum

Mordekaiser: No experience.

Ryze: Very experienced. High skill-cap and the worst champion in the game. Not worth.

Yorick: Easy to pilot and respectably strong imho. Just farm for Triforce and split top until you kill the tier-2 tower. Then go botlane and kill the other tier-2 tower. The only toplaner who can challenge you and your succubus is Jax. Itemize to mitigate being kited.
