His strength is from his synergy with Runic Echoes item 1402 Lots of burst, good sustained dmg, and makes him move even faster.

Portal isn't what makes him OP directly.

It's that he has Shyvana W movespeed without bear stance and becomes essentially manaless due to Runic Echoes, and becomes perma-homeguards in bear stance.

Runic Echo giving him a lot of movement speed and an earlier power spike than devourer, that's whats OP about him.

The stupid zz'rot build is just a trick2g wannabe build.

Last time I checked, Udyr was banned because he was running around at 500MS by 20 minutes. Not because he built an item that already helped with his late game splitpush.
