In Riot's defense, Blizzard made you buy Overwatch. And it's not like you paid anything to play this game cough $30 ultimate skins cough bs chroma packs cough "free" content that encourages even more spending cough cough. Ya Riot's just too poor...
And they have so many other projects that require their time, effort, and money. Meanwhile Blizzard only has Overwatch. O wait...
This is a bad idea in my opinion. In North America we are already the softest, most easily offended, delicate people on the planet. The more we keep on making it impossible for us to have to actually .. overcome challenges through our own power .. we are gonna up so soft and squishy. We don't need more "safe spaces".
I respect Blizzard for doing this, but honestly "GG EZ", while being very unsportsmanlike, isn't the worst thing people say on video games. I REALLY want a filter for "kys" and all its variants. Insults on the internet don't affect me, but mental illness is on the rise and it should not be acceptable to say "kys".
I don't have a problem with people saying "gg ez" after the nexus is destroyed. What I do have a problem with is people, especially my team, saying "GG" or anything close to "GG" before the nexus is dead. I have been in to many games where people have done this and then they get wiped while fighting by the nexus and then end up losing. If the game was easy why can't you say the game was ez. If it was a good game say good game. Censoring everything someone says is just going to piss off more people than it helps.
