with assassins increasingly obtaining cc abilities

in the future will zed R stun? that way for casual players (and to sell skins) can land all Q's and make sure duskblade + electrocute procs

joking aside, will the next assassins, with respect to akali and pyke, have some sort of CC? akali Q slows, her R stuns and Pyke Q stuns/pulls/slows and has an aoe stun.

well Pyke is really a support/assassin which is an odd combo,

and I do agree with the no heavy CC for assassins, and if anything Assassins should only get light CC, like Charm (Ahri and Evelynn), Silence (Kassadin), Fear (nocturne and Shaco), slow (Kayn, Shaco, Twitch and Fizz), knock up (Kayn -Darkin-)

Tho what Assassins shouldn't have that becomes overbearing and incredibly strong is massive healing (Kayn -Darkin-), Stuns (Akali, tho since it's an ult I guess it's fine, Ekko has a stun as well but his is really easy to dodge as it forewarns you), and "oops I F'd up" abilities (Leblanc)

Fizz has a slow and a knockup, Rengar's got a snare (or a slow), Shaco's got fears, it's not ENTIRELY new for assassin type champions to have crowd control. That being said usually they don't have such reliable access to hard CC. I'd chalk pyke up to being a support (he DOES trade raw damage for these things)

But Akali?

I'm not defending Akali

Leblanc 1~2 snares

Ahri 1.4~2 sec charm

Ekko slow + AoE stun

Fizz slow + knockup

Rengar slow + snare

Shaco slow + fear

Evelynn charm

many assassins have hard CC abilities in their kits (and everyone have at least a soft CC),it's nothing new
