Please bring back Nexus Blitz where I can play any champion and still have fun

I don't want to play ranked because people choose blatantly strong champions into what I want play (Ryze, Morde, Kog'maw). I don't want to play SR because 1) people don't take it seriously enough to win 2) same as ranked people pick stupid strong champions into what I play. ARAM should be renamed "Fuck your side, we are giving the cancer shit to the other team". Don't bother telling me to play 3v3. Just bring back Nexus Blitz PLEASE GOD.

Just curious did I miss something or did the planned post detailing how Nexus Blitz went never get published? Meddler promised something like this a month or so back and it never came to fruition (though from this comment it looks like things went well).

That is too bad I saw more interest in Odyssey than Nexus Blitz. But you are part of the same company who thought All Random URF was a better direction for the game mode that was far more fun than Nexus Blitz will ever provide. Nexus Blitz suffers from balance tilting causing more misdirectional wins than you would ever see in Summoner's Rift.

Nexus Blitz will be Hyped for a month or two then gone and maybe introduced again. But will probably ultimately be as popular as 3x3s unless a bad move like removing ARAM which is the same tired excuse as given for Dominion's removal; I don't see Nexus Blitz amounting to anything.

You all need to quit begging for Nexus Blitz. They stated the game mode was an alpha test of a new mode, and they were running live tests on the public to see how it runs, how to improve it, etc. The mode is not complete. You were playing a prototype version of the game mode. It is not ready for a full, permanent launch at this time, as it is still in development. You need to just be patient and wait for the beta version of the mode to be ready for them to implement another test run. But stop expecting them to be able to just drop it in the client like it's a fully functional rotating game mode.

Here's the difference. Nexus blitz lasts at most 20 minutes. It's over in less than 10 minutes if you get stomped. You have about 5 minutes of "game is already over and we can't win"

Summoners Rift lasts 35+ minutes. If you get stomped it still takes over 20 minutes unless you get a unanimous surrender, and you often have to endure 15 minutes of playing a hopeless match.

nexus blitz felt more like something that should be permanent than rotating. It's a great place to test champions and farm out the S rank hextech boxes. I managed to get 5 S ranks over 2 weeks during NB :D

With summoners rift, i just play the same champion over and over to improve faster but it means i can't get my hex boxes out of the way.

Riot never said NB was going to be "rotating"

They took it back into development to work on it further.

They haven't given us a decision about if they will make it permanent or scrap it.

I have 7 boxes and 0 key fragments. Key fragments are so hard to get in my opinion.

The game was suppose to be fun, with wild events, constant fights and a time saver.

What Nexus Blitz really was:

Not fun with broken events that gave the wrong side an advantage instead of the underdogs
Buffs that were stupid broken and buffs that were useless
More of the same over powered champs in lane
A terrible jungle experience where only the strongest jungle champs ruled and pushed out other junglers.
A waste of resources when there are far more enjoyable games in the rotation like Ascension, Non-Random Urf Mode and King Poro.

Here is hoping they scrap it.

There indeed are pretty funny 'rotating game modes', as Riot Games calls them. And then there's Nexus Blitz, which is supposed to become a permanent addition to LoL. I.e. it is not a rotating game mode. I don't understand how it is even possible to read past the intros of Riot Games' articles about it and still not get it.

As for your other complaints: it was in alpha testing, which means it wasn't even rough, but entirely made out of scrap. Events and buffs need tuning, and players need an explanation as to how the algorithm decides where the event will take place, with possible changes as to how it weighs some values over others. That's comprised in the words "alpha testing", btw. I was able to pick a lot of different champions with varying degrees of success, but never felt as if one champion's capabilities were undesirable. I carried, was carried, and was wrecked by about every champion of the roster, in both lane and jungle, except perhaps the less popular ones such as Annie, Aurelion Sol, Azir... but that's just my not seeing them often, I suppose.

You can't play ANY champion on Nexus Blitz and win, because siege champions dominate almost as hard as they do on ARAM. Now Ascension is a map where anyone can be played to some success, since you don't have to destroy towers in order win the game. This means that everyone has a shot at doing something and marksmen or siege mages aren't mandatory in order to complete objectives. In addition, Ascension games last an average of 15 minutes and the queues are always super fast.

If you want a fast mode where you can play whoever you like, you should be asking for Ascension.

Except Ascension has an entirely different victory goal than NB, which isn't much different from SR. Needing to rack up kills and capture artefacts isn't quite the same as destroying towers, then the Nexus. Putting aside the fact that NB has these events that throw the game into disarray half of the time. Which I like, because when you lose you can always blame RNG ;D

You are not alone my friend. This whole season Iv'e played little to 0 matches until nexus blitz came out, then i played for hours every day like i used to.

It was the only glimmer of fun this whole season has had. And i miss it very much v.v

ARAM is quickly boring me, and i avoid SR like it's the plague, really don't want to go against another kaisa or jhin, or fucking irelia.

With a proper team and babysitting jg/supp, sure they're strong. But don't be stupid making a comment like this. Ryze is easily outclassed, in 1v1s, versus many champions. Ryze requires the enemy to make a mistake rather than being proactive.

Nah. I haven't watch an lcs game since season 3. Lol. TBH, I don't play ryze at all. All ik is that anytime I see him in low diamond he steam rolls teams. Lol. Supposedly he has a weak early game, but he has god tier wave clear with a tear. Lol. If one is on my team, I'm elated. If one is on the enemy team, it's time to bend over.

Well Ryze is really only played by mains and 1 tricks mostly (kinda like A Sol) and is very team dependent. He is only strong if he gets fed (which is hard in this early game meta in 90% of the matchups cause assasins everywhere atm)

His E mana cost in early is high asf. He doesn't have god tier waveclear in early. His point and click root duration got nerfed, assasins kill him as soon as it ends.

Starts at tear. They always run tp, and often start crystal. They need to farm 450 gold, then tp back to lane. Lol. Takes a couple of minutes. Before tear his waveclear and early game damage is still better than that of most assassins. Lol. I'm talking about the ones in diamond, though. I'm not surprised if the ones in silver have a harder time.

a meta will evolve for nexus blitz once its stable and not changed constantly and then you wont be saying this kind of stuff, its like if you threw 10 new players in a summoners rift game anything will work because they have no idea what is the best

well, technically urf had a meta but it was still ridiculously fun to play. People just focused more on their desire to win instead of their desire to have fun with the game mode. I loved twisted fate in it and he's one of the weakest mages in the game

quite a few champions were outrageous in it. The mode was even fine for years and then they added the crazy masteries and it started blowing up because every ability you cast would blow the opponent up
