Make it impossible for your team to ban your pre selected champion

As much as I would like to have my chosen champ not banned, I also don't want to give trolls who didn't get their position another tool.

TBH this has happened to me twice before in the past week.

I'm a support main, and it only happens when I'm support. Someone is like, "Play X champion." and I politely decline, next minute they're banning my selected support. This is toxic behavior and it should be a reportable offense at least. Keep in mind I'm not doing anything off meta in the least as well.

I've seen it happen to other supports too, and my last time I was like, "Welp I guess I'm taking your selected champion as support then." They left, but I'm fed up with people that do that messed up crap. I know why supports are starting to force respect more and more, that's BS behavior.

I was at the top, and I was not even at the bottom, AND I WAS SUPPORT. Although I will say I don't have much sympathy for people that ban someones champion simply because they're towards the bottom, but it's a tad more understandable.

The person that's going troll is going to do it regardless of their pick. You can ban their preselected champion, but they're going to choose something similar after.

2 Reasons why this is a bad idea in itself:

First, if it's not bannable, you can't prevent your opponent to pick it before you can. Second, I (and many, many, MANY others) have enough bad experiences with certain champs completely fulfilling Shaco Sydrome, so whatever I see potentially being picked up jumps to my most-to-be-banned desired champ in that moment.

No, I think I'm the guy whose game gets ruined by your 1/15/2 Xin, not being able to finish Sated Devourer before 35 minutes into the game.

experiences -- like in PLURAL. I don't ban shit, if it ruins one game but a series. And don't tell me there's no champ in the game you also ban by default, no matter what.

But it's fun to see how you try to compare real life with games. ps. next time, use guns for your example, then I'd even agree with you~

there are certain champs i don't want to see in the enemy team, right

if someone of my team wants to play one of them i won't ban them (on my first game with the new system i banned a preselected champion by accident .. didn't do that after)
