Wukong deserves a rework more than Irelia/Swain.

I don't get why they put Irelia ahead of Wukong on the rework list. She's still good, she can do well with her healing and true dmg combined with trinity + new steraks and put out massive dmg, while being tanky. Swain is also a good pick still, build RoA zhonyas and you're gonna be always annoying as fuck with his snare and Q slow + dft. Wukong however can only build full lethality and hope enemy support won't locket his adc and exhaust him. He literally gets counterpicked on top lane by almost every champ, can't play him jungle because you get 1v1ed by the red buff and invaded. Mid kong is only a cheese pick, even then you can get counterpicked by range mages. Even best Wukong world Allorim stopped playing him in s4-s5, when he was challenger and now Wukong one tricks can barely get to d1. I was really disappointed seeing Irelia and Swain on the list before the Kong....

I think they are giving it to Ireland first because she is problematic rather then bad. Like, all three champions function, but Irelia has inherent flaws that they think they should solve first.

Wukong just needs a better passive, and more power added to his clone

Or what about Cho'Gath?

Honestly, all three champions mentioned in this thread are functional, have counterplay and only Swain is somewhat frustrating to play against being ranged in toplane and surprisingly hard to kill in teamfights.

And now compare that to the incredibly awful kit of Cho'Gath that in it's current iteration feels absolutely awful to play against with low skill expression while also not being focused on the league fundamentals like Garen. And last but not least: Cho looks absolutely awful. But the most annoying thing about him is that he is actually strong and meta instead of being overnerfed like old Poppy and Sion which were both less frustrating to play against.

Wukong's problems can be addressed by numbers. Irelia and Swain have deeply rooted design issues.

U have, definitly, no clue about the game.

I dont agree its numbers.

If Wu is bruiser, he goes tanky and does nothing, or goes damage and is a leaf. If he is an assassin his escape or damage avoidance is pretty bad, tbh. If he is a diver, he doesnt get tools to survive in a teamfights aside from a knockup and the stealth he blew to get in.

Renek has heals, stuns, massive temp hp gain and dashes (in and out if need be). Zed has two teleports, fizz has invulnerable, khazix has jump with resets. Vii and Shen have shields, dashes (in and out), and sustain.

So what should Wukong do? Give him heals for any damage dealt to clone or damage dealt by ult or by Q. Give his W speedboost or CDR whenever the clone is hit. Reward wukong for good clone use. Give him shields on E or Q.

I disagree personally. Wukong is pretty fun to play as and against (as fun as it can be to play against someone). Irelia, on the other hand... pretty one sided and has always been a huge issue whenever she becomes viable, unlike Wukong.
