Can we all agree that even if she is OP, Camille is a fun champion to play

Her overall kit feels smooth. Everything flows nicely. No excessive button mashing, no really bad positioning errors to deal with save diving too far. Building full damage or full tank can situationally work very well on her while a more hybrid build is a default average in comparison and depends on how well you do in the game if it is really good or really bad (like it should be, given it is her proposed build). She also is a semi-flex, usually Top but can be played successfully in the Jungler and Support roles.

So while she may need some tweaks here and there, she is overall a fun champion to play.

The issue is she isn't a fun champion to play against, on top of being op

When is a champion ever fun to play against?, besides if you are dominating them. Usually either they are not fun to play against, or you are indifferent.

My enemies playing champs legitimately smart or well makes me have fun. I was in a bush against a elise as akali, I was low, but she didn't have vision. I could have killed her, but a split second before I q'd, she noticed the item 3001 debuff that was given to her, and she did the jump thing to dodge it. That death was enjoyable.

Some champs are just less 'not fun' to play against.

I'd rather play against Lux TwistedFate Fizz Diana Taliyah than Yasuo Orianna Zed

Yeah so fun, few days ago I had a Camille top who went 0 15 and 100 cs down, after 3 items she was 15 15. So balanced when a total brainless bronze noob can literally carry after buying 3-4 items.

If Vaynes Q gave her next attack 100% current hp true damage she would be really fun to play too! Thats definitely a good idea to not nerf!
