How to play Kalista, Azir, Yasuo, Zed, Vayne, Riven, Lee Sin etc. as a first time in ranked.
- Don't.
- Number 1
I think this rule can apply to a broader range of champions. Like all of them.
True, but the first time ranked champions always tends to be the excessively flashy ones/ new champs (which are almost always excessively flashy).
Plus, I first timed Shen in ranked when toxic af Vayne ADC made me swap with her because she was like "fuck Tank Karma". I had fun.
Yeah, Shen's a blast. Some champions you play because they're fun.
I've considered adding Tristana to my ADC pool.
so true, when i dont see the mastery ranks i get nervous
Why vayne and not other adcs like Draven? He is much harder then her but the Point should be don't play any champ first time not only those.

Vayne's are notoriously more self centered, ironically enough. People playing Vayne assume that Tumble is a get-out-jail-free maneuver that will let them 1 v 3 and live.
Old, but topical https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxiwkTJ04vo
I'm too much of a bitch to do that, I'm one of those people who knows they suck at adc and NEEDS someone to protect them, which is why I play draven since that way since he has no mobility and I can't do anything if someone tries to dive my ass except murder them I can just focus on the whole murder them part.

no draven is not harder than vayne. technically his mechanics are harder but that doesnt matter because theyre both very easy to play. the thing that makes vayne harder is positioning and decision making
Draven needs to position better than vayne and needs to look for his axes to not lose damage.

nope.
Yep. Maybe in Gold it is different but in higher elo that is the way it looks like.

No bro. I don't even know how you're high elo if you think that. vayne can carry extremely easy low elo but then high elo no one picks her because she's extremely hard to position. Sorry but even pro players say this
But I am in higher elo and you are Not. Vayne has over 20% (and she had even more) pickrate in plat + and Draven has 6% so where is your "they don't pick her in higher elo". Do you think they pick Draven? No because he is much harder to position and to play well.

Sorry bro but you're wrong, and if you can't see why i'm not gonna bother trying to convince you
I gave you facts. I have statistics argument I have my division argument and you have only your opinion which is wrong.
How to play Kalista.....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................DON'T
How to play Azir in ranked after 50 games on him in normals:
Yeah, I'm of the opinion that Azir needs buffs.
And that your first 50 Azir games might as well be your first
I clicked ranked without knowing and had to play my second game on Azir in ranked. I went 13 and 3 lol ( pre nerf )
This was in bronze and against a yasuo lol
Ah, I still remember my first Azir game (in normals, calm down)
I still don't know what's going on
You forgot every other champion in the game
Zed honestly isn't that hard the first time you play him. As long as you've seen him enough to understand what he does, you're good.
You shouldn't play Kalista at all, though. She's so bugged that she has the lowest winrate in the game, and one of the lowest winrates ever.
Famous last words of a 1/10 Zed.
I actually carried my first three games with him. He definitely has a high skill ceiling, but his floor is overrated as fuck. As long as you are Gold or below I'd say you're ready to take him to ranked in about 5 or so normal games.
how to play
#1 dont
#2 Ever
#3 Play
#4 Him
How to first time any champion in league in ranked:
ez carry
Support in ranked
pls don't do this
Dude, Offmeta in ranked is perfectly fine. Ivern can lane poke, cc, deny vision, and has pretty good kill pressure. Problem is that he just isn't that great.
Like gurl, if I can solo carry as Kalista Jungle or Tank Karma Top, you can fucking play Ivern support and I won't judge.
Offmeta picks tend to be selfish.
There's an offmeta of "Ok, Malz Top"
But things as wacky as AD soraka means your just ruining the game with it. If you don't have consistently high winrate with it, then you're basically sabotaging the team. For your own enjoyment.
You gotta farm that winrate somehow
Selfish offmeta picks tend to be selfish.
ftfy
i had a first time bard in high platinum game...Prolly the most backfire champion in league which can turn a fight in enemy's favor
Step 1: enter lane Step 2: loose lane cause you don't have the mechanical skill to play said champion yet Step 3: loose midgame because again, you dont have the skill to play your champ Step 4: loose lategame because you dont have the skill to play your champ.
loose?
Better tighten up your game, then
This needs more upboats.
Oh god that was fantastic
You can first time annie, warwick, master yi in ranked and you will be fine
EDIT: Somewhat fine
I've played most of those champions in ranked for the first time.
None of them came remotely close to how bad my first game with Twisted Fate was.
What about nooblords like Ashe, Ryze, & Garen?
When the enemy goes first time lee sin, it warms my heart that they would freely give me elo :)
Every kick is a free flash
And every landed Q is a free kill for me
I feel like this thread is more geared towards Bronze-Silver as they would most likely have issues with champs that are mechanically difficult to play. Which is why I would suggest a lot of practice on one of those champs before taking it out in ranked games, but then again there a lot of people who never play normal and only play ranked queue's. In that case at least run a custom game for a few min to experiment with the abilities and auto attack animation canceling etc before jumping in a ranked game.

Yeah, you can pick them for the first time in Ranked. Or, or:
