Yea let's buff Akali instead of giving her a rework when she's one of the worst champs to play vs.
What could possibly go wrong
I mean this has only ruined the game every other time you've buffed akali

They did sort of improve the playing against experience - the ult going through targets means it's now possible to juke Akali as she ults to prevent her Q proc - and it's easier to juke her the closer she is to you. She still has a lot of reliable damage and stupid amounts of sustain though.
Eh, to be fair, she needs the sustain now. Since she lost the defenses on her Shroud, she's really vulnerable. Without her sustain, she wouldn't last 2 min in lane.
and yet she still has tankier base stats than shen... XD
Who also has high sustain, a bubble, a taunt that reduces damage, and infinite poke. :P Shen is a bit more reliable than Akali pre-nerf.
Akali is also one of the worst champions to play as after the nerf. Something like this I don't think is going to push her straight back into awful territory but may still let her players have fun.

After trying a few games on her, I feel like while it doesn't make her as point and click as she once was, she definitely feels a LOT better to play as.
1 second on the E is definitely an energy dump late game, but also make for decent waveclear.
And her ultimate can now be used to actually make better jukes since you can avoid reactionary skillshots towards you since you'll dash behind the target.
I think it makes her a lot less clunky (though not totally better) than she was.
That was actualy the goal behind this buff. Huge susscess Id say :)
"You can juke akali now by running into her team what a big nerf in disguise" akali mains
... but it also puts akali further into your team so i mean most the time thats an issue....
Not in this meta. Your big bruiser guys will probably be jump number 1 or jump number 2, meaning she loses one outta 3 (possibly 2 if she doesn't get a kill). Big bruiser guys will beat little soccer girl into a corner with a train of cc-

are you implying that you have frontlint adc? LOL
Akali is so weak lol
Akali is so weak lol
Yeah, because her kit is absolutely obnoxious. She's not the only champion kept weak because of that.

Well, he WAS before. He is in a pretty good spot now though.
Also, most people don't really even see urgot....even after his buffs and being used in the LCS he still tends to be fairly uncommon, so most people forget that he even was buffed.
The only one who belongs on that list is Elise atm
An actual list:

The thing I hate about
is the same reason I hate playing against
. It doesn't matter how many times you kill them, eventually they will get right back into the game and start nuking people down. It's not like
at least the puppy had to work for his damage via q stacks.

Yi scales so much better into late-game than Akali though.
I don't have any real issues with Akali, but do feel she needs a rework. She is so binary. She either bursts you down with a big ball of stats backing her up, or she doesn't and dies (the inability to do this to Mordekaiser is why he is one of her hardest counters IMO).
It takes yi much longer to get to late game though, because she is much easier to snowball as and these changes are going to promote this.
Hello
As much as I hate Akali this is a good thing. A Game should not become a 4v5 if someone does badly. "High risk high reward" just means pubstomper that surrenders at 20 if the game doesn't go their way.
Exactly. While I do not hate them, I think they are kinda unfair comparing to other champions. For example, once you fall behind as
you will probably be behind until the end of the game, but you can easily go 0-5 as
or
and be 50 CS behind your enemy but once you get 2 items you will be relevant.
There are many games when my or enemy
vent 0/X and was 50cs behind her opponent but somehow she managed to finish the game with positive KDA and was unstopable. Same goes for
tho.
That's why you should NEVER spam surr button when you have either of those in your team because unexpected penta is the deadliest.
Its item dependency. They don't scale by game pace, kill pace, stack pace- they scale by farm and time, two hard to deny things. Same thing goes for Jax and Fiora and Katarina- 3 more super hated "OP" champs. I get why you don't like them, but thats what a hyper carry is- someone who scales based solely on what they succeed on doing instead of what they get fought over for.
I just...read.....what I typed and it confused me xD
Is this ye olde gd?
Akali has been buffed 2-3 times ever compared to 15 or so nerfs... and the only one that made a buff an issue is when the first released her and gave her crazy damage and tankyness
HAHAHAHA! Oh please! She's not even in the top 10 worst champions to play against. I can literally think of ten off of the top of my head before she even comes close...

Wow,
doesn't make the top ten either? Now that's surprising.
Never said those were the top 10, just ten I could think of more annoying than Akali. Here's ten more.

Feeding any of these is worse than feeding Akali, imo. Either from decimating your whole team with very little chance of shutting them down to split pushing and disappearing so fast that losing is now a matter of when instead of if. Nasus takes a special spot because he can just do both if you don't keep him down during laning phase.
She'll get Kassadin's treatment(halfassed rework after multiple nerfs, mechanics' devastation and visual update). I dread the day. I truly do.
Fack no, I will take Akali over Le Blanc any day.
what akali needs is a way to amplify her auto attacks. something like: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/FKazxyxF-bruiser-crit-modifier-crit-base-damage-on-select-items
such that she could build like
and reach about 50% crit chance with just two items.
or preferably even have flattened crit (like ashe) or half and half.
Half and half is where 50% of your crit damage is flattened/incorporated into each of your autos and the remaining 50% applies when you crit. Say your total attack damage is 100. if you crit you deal 200. At 25% crit chance, 100/4 = 25. flattening crit would mean giving you 125 per auto. This would instead give you 25/2 = 12.5 so 12.5 per auto and the rest... 25+12.5 = 37.5 when you crit. so autos would deal 112.5 and crits 137.5 but preferably also with more crit chance as stated above (however it would have to be less/medium sized crit as opposed to the full fledged crit we're familiar with something closer to a 150% but in turn you get to have more crit chance).
That way she isn't so reliant on chance to do damage with her auto since she doesn't have much time to get her autos in between all the cc on her.

My reasoning is that she's an energy champion, the thing is while her e and w do indeed cost a lot, you can sort of live without them since her q is on short enough cool down and ult charges can be up pretty often.
Although still I do think energychamps/ninjas should somewhat benefit or revolve around auto attacks which so far seems to be the case with
,
, and
.
For those extended fights where there might be some down time while you wait for your energy bar to restore.
her ad scaling isn't that great and anytime you get ad its always a good idea to get some attack speed to complement it and maintain the optimal damage ratio between both, unless you can really cast spells or apply hydra active like say for
,
,
, but even they often benefit from the as on ghostblade's active tremendously in some instances.
Not to mention akali's passive is similar to having a built in devourer/nashor's tooth in that it gives each of your auto attacks addtional ap damage ranging from 50 to 100+ depending on how much ap you have.
isn't all that bad on her. A slight buff/rework to rageblade might help akali a lot.
It would not be the crit we're familiar with at the moment. it would resemble that of the new
a lot. By flattening crit you don't have to rely on so much on chance. Right now in the fast pace nature of this game there are short windows in which you have to deal damage. Relying on 25% crit does not cut it.
a damage amplifier would help a lot with that.
I also have this suggestion for lichbane which I think would be great for a lot of champions including akali. Like for
,
,
who do not necessarily have high ap ratios but benefit from procing spellblade as well as the mana it offers.

After the R change, I can just imaging Gnar being a huge counter-pick with his E and then his huge amounts of CC in Mega Gnar.
at least it's easier to land skillshots on her now. and it's harder for her to escape tower diving you, that's a +1 for me.
The only thing unfair about Akali is her 3 targeted jumps which makes it impossible to outplay her, as Ahri she can jump on you for each time you use your ult, or as Zed she can jump on you each time you use a shadow, having 3 consecutive point and click dashes without any form of cooldown is completely unfair.
Well I love the low CD on her E. Also her ult and how she flips over the target does look pretty good. Though a real buff would let her E proc her Q make her more a threat, but she is still nice as she is now with the current little buff.
I can only tick one of the rework boxes Riot has: -Make Q a skillshot
I don't see what they can do to her other stuff though, delays wouldn't work since they can't justify it when it's not a stun and she has no cc for them to remove.
Complete guide on how to counter Akali:

Why no one seems to realize this in my lowball elo is staggering. Same with any stealth champ.
I play Evelynn jungle fairly often and people put stealth wards near gank entry points, and of course this has never worked in the history of anything, ever. I honestly have no idea why they continue to do it. You can do the same thing to Shaco, Kha'Zix, or Rengar. Anything that reveals units shuts them down hard. And people still don't do it.
Last game I got the pink
as Sona, and at least one of enemy Talon's deaths was when he ulted nearby one and died confused as to how we could see him. It was hilarious.
my problem with akail is that my team mates run akail and don't even try to fight back, resulting in 100-0 and then we have to deal with a full health akail.
Akali has been relatively weak for the most part and as a result her popularity, ban rate, and win rate reflect that.
Never really had a problem playing against Akali as Anivia, dunno
Akali's counterplay is use you upgraded sweeper trinket on her invisibubble and boom akali on full cooldowns sitting in her bubble chilling out, now as for the buffs to her i really don't get it, she's finally in a spot where you can break her snowball after she rolls all over her laning opponent and they decide it's now time to give her a 1 second cd on her slash? Do what you will riot, but I will always have a bias against this champ.
Can we agree not to complain about Akali until LeBlanc is nerfed? LeBlanc does the same things Akali does, except has a better escape and lower cooldowns.
I think a large problem with akali is that once she jumps you, you have one option, kill her before she kills you, no escape is not an option, and if you do out-damage her, just hope to god she dosen't shroud. Another thing I hate is her spellvamp, like seriously? its not enough she has good base stats and mr per lv? she needs to be able to heal off harass too? especially since her q is single target and heals for a decent bit every time, what is it with riot lumping sustain onto manaless champs?...
She actually shouldn't have per level mr since sometime last season if i remember right
