This is because they gave no good reason for its removal. Just because a spell isn't used doesn't mean it should just be removed without a replacement, otherwise half the spells and items are in the same boat.

Right? Rammus with Revive and summoner 6 and item 1329 WAS THE MOST ENJOYABLE THING EVER. You could travel from your fountain to enemy fountain in like 5 seconds.

Why farm and take baron and dragons and towers and teamfight? Just send super fast Rammus to their nexus as soon as the games starts ggwp

Edit: To add to that, they removed the Revive summoner icon picture from the forums, but you can still use summoner 30 and summoner 31 .

Disco Nunu is much more toxic than base-race Rammus, and Revive isn't needed for either.

So... Having someone with the ability to erase the minute-long death timer that usually makes surrender a quicker option late game isn't something usable in competitive play?

Because no one ever dies past the 40 minute mark, right? Good players never die, especially not against other players of equal skill.

I only agree with Dodge for as long as they're keeping it part of Jax's kit and Yasuo Tryndamere get tons of crit chance.

Gangplank's... you'd have to bring back the old ability. Are you saying the barrels aren't cool?

I stated that it shouldn't be removed without a replacement.

I'm not so mad that Revive is gone, just that they removed something from the game without any kind of similar thing being added. We lost DFG in exchange for Luden's. We lost Mordekaiser in exchange for Bannedman. We lost Season 4's jungle in exchange for a rotation of junglers going from AD to tank to AS.
