Out of the 6~ normal draft games ive played ive gone against plats at least 3 times. Like what the fuck. Stop allowing plats to duo with silvers. It just sucks the fun from the game. normals and ranked mmr are completly different you monkey im gold 2 and i recently played against the rank 3 challenger in na because i have a high normal mmr

Stop complaining about the game and practice to get better. If norms is too hard for you then go play bots and practice farming. Don't blame the game for your incompetence.

After playing 836 games and being stuck in silver should be a sign for you to practice in bots. I'm not trying to be rude but if norms and ranked are too hard for you then its time to go into a custom game and practice.

Normals are literally there to practice what are you not understanding about this? You shouldn't be forced to practice against someone a lot higher elo than you. Imagine getting stomped out by challengers repeatedly. Swallow your ego and put yourself in my shoes

I am putting myself in your shoes. I was once in bronze elo struggling like you. Then I just kept practicing in ranked and norms. Got better that way. I'm not saying practice in ranked but you gotta work on your mechanics in custom games and norms. I've played against challenger players and diamond players in ranked or norms. It's hard but you got to grind. This game is always going to be unbalanced so you as an Individual need to go ham if you want to climb or improve. Sorry bro but that's the sad truth.

I look at playing better people as a learning opportunity. You'll learn more playing a plat or diamond than playing people of equal skill. Watch the replay and see what they're doing all game to learn what you should do

Which is why BLIND is better for that. Allowing anyone to go up against anyone. But in DRAFT I expect to go against people my level to practice. When is getting pub stomped repeatedly fun?

I hope you do realize that NORMALS and RANKED are basically two different elos. If I go normals by myself as a Plat player I usually am up against anything between Silvers and Diamonds. If someone mostly plays ranked their normal "elo" will be much lower.

I have never (ok, maybe twice?) seen a plat in normal draft, and i am/was high silver.

It sounds like A; luck or B; your ELO is a lot higher than you think it is.

The reason you can end up with mismatches on paper is the mmr used to make matches in normals is different from ranked and many a high ranked player either plays off meta champs or champs and even roles he doesn't play in Normals. I looked up the plat player in your game and he plays support in ranked. He was playing jungle in your game. I had to go way down the list to find his Sej. He's played it once. And that was your game.

This. My normals mmr sucks and I tend to be put with lower ranked people. I have over a 60% winrate playing support ranked but I play other roles in normals and get bashed once in a while for having the gold border and playing like a wood 5 jungle lol

Normal games are normal games. They are not ranked games. You can't tell what you are going to get - really. If your winrate matches some others and they just happen to be silver/gold/plat/diamond (with corrections for averaging results across a group) then that's what you get.

The only ones I really feel for are the new or relatively new Level 30 Unrankeds who have to go through the grief of dealing with fully-decked out accounts. Now that's the only thing that's really unfair in normals.
