Proceeds to spam point and click Q all game from level 1 with 0 mana cost and at level 2 zones you from the minion wave by placing barrels through the wave. The only way to counter this is to play ranged, but if a late game champion is allowed to zone champions from level 1 how is that balanced?

Not even a shadow of his former self but that's what happens when you threaten mage oppression in midlane.
He isn't even late game anymore. He falls off past 30 minutes and spikes around 22 minutes. Also his Q cost 60 mana so idk how you can even get spam Q'd from level 1. You should at least know what ur talking about before complaining.
