Why do junglers who don't ping for help when fighting the enemy jungler, spam ping you for not

It seems pretty consistent - I'm focusing on winning my lane and I see a ping for help, I go help my jungler and my lane opponent doesn't seem to be doing anything about it, and we get a free kill.

OR, I don't see a ping, then I see my lane opponent start leaving randomly and I'm like what? Then notice they're fighting but I'm too late, and my jungler dies and spam pings me for not reacting first.

Hmm... maybe their jungler pinged?

I'm sorry, but levels 1-5, I'm not looking at the jungles if you're not telling me you're invading or going nearby. I'm looking at my lane, and where my ward is. I'm not expecting to get information from anywhere else...

I am not saying you are wrong but you should be looking at your mini map every 4-6 seconds. In High elo players expect you to know what is going on all over the map and keep track of champ positions throughout the game

this^ 90% of the time when I make a mistake it's because I wasn't looking around the map.

if everyone keeps an eye on their portion of the map and communicated everyone doesnt have to look everywhere

^. If their enemy mid laner has enough map awareness to pay attention to their jungler, what's your excuse?

I get this. However how do you know if their mid laner was responding to a ping or noticed it on their own.

In this case, my jungler was a Jarvan and the enemy jungler a Shyvana. He also died before my lane opponent got there anyways. The point though, is that I'm not watching out for a Jarvan to get caught early by a Shyvana. He's got E-Q to escape, she's got no mobility. If he can win the fight, win it. If not, get away. It's pretty straightforward. If the enemy has a Lee Sin or a Shaco jungle or something, I'll devote some of my attention to helping protect my jungler (and give up some of my own lane pressure) because I know they're at a disadvantage early. When my jungler should have the advantage early, and at a minimum has the choice of whether he fights or not - I don't see why I should give up lane pressure against a melee champion to look at where he is. I need to win my lane as hard as possible pre-6, I don't need to babysit an early game jungler against a late game jungler.

Again, regardless of what your jungler is doing you should be looking at the mini map every 4-6 seconds. There's really no excuse for not having map awareness.

Edit: If the jungler lost a 1v1 it's his fault. If the jungler gets 2v1'ed. It's yours.

sometimes in the heat of a fight, they don't have the time to ping because usually jungle duels are sudden. if youre looking at the map every 4 seconds or so, you would see they needed help though. the higher you go, the more they expect you to have map awareness too.

but don't take it as I'm calling you wrong though, because ive once had a jungler spam ping me "?" because I didn't "help" him despite being in toplane while hes fighting someone near the mid river brush

I had a top laner once who simply ignored me when I pinged him for help after I was being chased by Yasuo , but at the time gromp was more important to him.
